Schweet' date=' thanks mate! Looking forward to getting the others ............[/quote'] hey BB, you must be so proud!
  2. noticed it as well while spending two and a half hours in traffic yesterday one moment its dry, the next its raining so hard you can't see the car in front and then there was also the neverending drissle. At least the time I spent staring out the door while on rollers, the weather seemed ok.

  4. After the course test, we rode around a bit and I was introduced to the river crossing and yes, I did a dismount in the river. bad thing about it was I cut my knee again on the exact same place as where I had the staples after the 6hr all this means is I will probably be doing the 24hr in full body armour
  5. who's bringing the staple gun? I might need it again

    mtb pedals

I agree with The Thug. I had non-eggbeater pedals on my bike and had a nasty crash at the 6hr mtb race as I was unable to unclip in time due to the amount of mud clogged around the pedal. Have now changed to eggbeaters and they are great! Even on the first ride with them, I had no issues!
  7. Nice seeing you again, Shaunh
  8. oh yes, you finished ahead of me, it couldn't have been you that means it was either a) the brake pad pushing against the wheel b) my lak of training shining through c) someone filled my frame with lead
  9. getting ready for my first ride since bakwena yesterday, noticed the rear brake pad was pushing against the rim... think it may have been like this for at least part of if not the entire race on sunday and here i thought Wolverine was just holding onto my seatpost!
  10. A few days late - hope you had a great one Skye! Many happy miles in the year ahead!
  11. so do you think Father Christmas is a Hubber? Cause if he is, I would suggest he gets his hands on one of these catalogues and get me one of the 585 frames for Christmas
