  1. My "Osymetric" chainring will fit nicely. Well the Felt will have to be let go unfortunately.............. Any one in the market for a B12??
  2. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/61948-specialized-transition-tt-bike-56cm/ Its mine..............
  3. Well we are about another 1,000 athletes at ironman with that very same problem! Makes for some brilliant camaraderie.....
  4. Yes but bling is a very important aspect.
  5. Can we have a pic of this? I wanna also do that
  6. Ja it is the same thing with the 95.7 in Joburg Why do they call it that when you actually ride like 98km's??
  7. Hi all When I mount it to my TT bike there is a lot of shaking etc going on even though I am riding on a tar road..... Any advice on how to reduce this? Helmet may work I guess but I prefer to have it stationary Also I am experimenting with it around my dogs neck but its even worse....... I am experimenting as I plan to put it around the retrievers neck soon and throw balls into a swimming pool and see how it will come out. Had it on the Basset yesterday but shaking too much when he runs around.... What other cool ways have you guys tried to use this camera...
  8. No it would not. They get paid massive amounts for games. If the IRB therefore do not give him any games for a while it will hurt his pocket hopefully and that will be some kind of justice.
  9. If I ignore certain people then why do I see their "quotes" in other users replies. I thought I was rid of them totally
  10. Maybe Romaine Poite plays Superbru???
  11. Do you think refs get given any sort of briefing before a game by the IRB? Like look out for Bakkies Botha and Bismarck they are dirty.... Like the AB's should win and they are playing at home so naturally 50/50 calls should go their way Like the Boks scrum is stronger so 50/50 calls at scrum time should go to them Like the Boks will target Dan Carter so look out for foul play intimidation tactics around him... I just wonder if they do cuz that what it feels like from where I am watching..... Cant wait for the Aussies to start their mindgames soon.........
  12. I have decided that I will use my Gopro to capture my first moments standing and TT'ing. If they are eventfull I will post them. Watch this space. Note it will only be in a weeks time or so!
  13. Hahaha My first time I rode on tiles.... slippery tiles. I fell really really hard and nearly tore medial ligaments
  14. I finally can stay upright on my rollers..... (Galaxia) Now I have a few technical questions:- 1.) Are these bad for your wheels? (does it eat the rubber off quickly?) 2.) Can you really stand and pedal on them like Tacx claims? Has anyone hubber done it before? 3.) Is it easy to TT on them? I wanna lean forward but am scared shitless as it stands now... Any other tips/advice? Thx
  15. Definitely Ratty You can get away with 2 hours maybe even three if you had a good breakfast and some powerade just before the start. The longer the race the more it changes. I had a good IM race this year mainly due to eating 2 x steer burgers after 120km on the bike - or so I think!
  16. And we where discussing the substandard reffing. We never said who would win etc - we only wished it was a fair contest. Yet you decide to come along with your off topic one sided comments looking for reaction. You are obviously a sour person looking for conflict and nothing more. Now run along before you get hurt son. There are a lot of nasty people on the hub here that will eat you alive for breakfast. Can Admin check this guys IP Address for duplicate accounts. It seems funny that someone comes here and starts a new profile just to lambast Bok supporters? Although having said that you being from the Western Cape you do support the AB's as you still live in the past. You are the reason CT will never get a AB's test again.
  17. Boys lets all ignore this Dark Night fellow - nuff said
  18. Dark Night so because of this we must assume the AB's will win all future games. Get lost dude. You are only seeking attention. Don't tell me you created this profile just to talk rugby on a cycling forum? I smell a Rat. And it is called duplicate accounts....
  19. Ja and remember they have to travel now.... Lekker looooong flight to South America's... thereafter all the way back to altitude. I hope the groundsman at Ellispark puts some roundup into the irrigation system this week. The veld needs to look like the Griquas home ground. #indiaday5wicket Also my take on the team.... We need supersubs that can make a super impact...... Super Sarel at #9 (Fourie to start) Gio Aplon at 15 (with Lambie to start)
  20. Unless the Pumas shock the AB's at home?? I mean it will be very difficult for the AB's to keep their intensity up after such a big game.... I know it is unlikely but definitely possible.....
  21. Yep. According to him we should take the team who is ahead after 10 minutes and declare them outright winners.
  22. Well home ground advantage tend to make you start stronger etc. You obviously have never played rugby and do not understand the impact a biased ref + cards does make on a team. It should/would/could have been a brilliant game but now we will never know. And yes it was the ref.
  23. If we stop watching and the viewership numbers fall then Rugby loses money. The advertisers pay for their adds on a scale based on viewer numbers. All of these multi billion dollar TV contracts is based on viewership numbers. The main sponsors are very much concerned about this. The more people see their add the more they have to pay. The less people interested, the less merchandise will sell and so on.... At the end of the day I want to be entertained on weekends by watching sport. It is supposedly relaxing (or used to be). To be honest I enjoy the EFC cage fighting way more at the moment. The rugby administrators need to get their act together. They are destroying the sport. And countries like Aus and NZ cannot afford for this to happen. NZ need the money. Aus have to worry about rugby league and Aussie rules.... I think at the moment it is a combination of really bad refs being empowered too much (as there are vuckol recourse for mistakes and them being larger than the game) and also the rule changes not working at all. Together these are making for boring matches with the man in the middle talking and influencing way too much. An how the hell do they appoint a ref who cannot even speak English properly? No wonder the players got so aggressive. The ref had no control and allowed the crowd to influence him. See the IRB now suddenly appointing a Stuart Barnes for the Ellispark match.......... Too little too late.
  24. I am also tired of this "they would have won in any case" bullcrap. Who knows? Had Bissie not been blown up that tackle right there could have resulted in turn over ball (probably would have as he dropped the ball with his injured shouder) and we could have scored. Momentum shift and then anything could have happened........ a lot can be said and predictions can be made but no one knows - the ref made sure that was to remain a mystery. Rugby is a volatile game. Small things/decisions can make big differences. When Bissie got sent of it was a big blow nonetheless as he was our best player by far.... As mentioned however I am done with it for a while.
  25. I am at a point where I will start planning my weekends differently. Every Saturday is all about rugby in the afternoons. After what has happened in the CC and Tri (4 minus Argentina) Nations I feel I don't want to watch rugby anymore. I would much rather check the scores and highlight packages on the Sunday on the "catch up" channel. I am beyond the point of getting upset cause I swear the last 6 games of any rugby that I watched was influenced by the ref.... refer to this SA game, the way Jafta is going in the CC, the way the TMO is going in the CC and then also the klein mannetjie sindrooom of a certain Mr's Lourens v d Merwe and Jaco Peypers. I cant stand watching those okes going about their business.... In the last three weeks the CHeetahs, Griekwas and WP have been withheld from victories due to a ref... and also its not fun to watch stop start games If the viewer numbers fall then the fatcat administrators will feel it on their pockets and be forced to ensure fair game eventually. SANZAR also need to realise the Boks are the financial powerhouse of the competition and a lot more people watching the games played in SA due to our time zones that is concurrent with that of Europe. If we quit super rugby and the Championships then there will be nothing left for them and they need to keep this in mind. Maybe it is time for a change?? Maybe time for the Test cricket season to start....
