  1. Yes indeed. It is about the money as well. They just also need to consider the 2 days lost due to the game being over already...... I still think they need to keep test windows open. All teams needs to keep certain dates open and then the draw is decided once a year? So SA will be notified if they will tour to Auz or Eng end of year by Sept for example........ All other things remain the same.....
  2. The ICC needs to wake up. They should only allow teams to play other teams who are within 2 or 3 spots from them at home. What I mean is that SA should never play NZ in South Africa whilst SA is number one and NZ sixth. Yes we can go there as it will be a bit more challenging but what does it do to the sport currently. Auz beating Sri Lanka within 3 days with an innings! We should have played Auz or Eng again. Not sure why those series was so short in anycase. This is not fun watching...............
  3. Also happy. Got a Garmin pouch for Christmas that was too small for my GPS. Didnt have a invoice but still they excanged it for me without any hassles.
  4. Already entered!
  5. Hi guys. Perhaps we can use this thread to discuss some of the rules for the full ironman. I see the race guide is not out yet. Does anyone know if there is a special needs zone in which I am allowed to store bike parts consisting of the following:- 1.) extra tubes and bombs (if I puncture I would like to stock up for the next lap) 2.) extra wheel set. If I choose a disk wheel and the wind picks up, am I allowed to change the wheel after lap two for example? The pros have a car with wheels on the roof following them so what are we as amateurs supposed to do? Also what happens if you puncture with a tubby? I know years back it was everyone for himself but now days you see mecs helping people change wheels etc. Thx
  6. That is true stretch but he was never a one day player in my opinion. He was good at scartching around. Aaaaah, imagine watching a test match with him and Aswell Prince batting together for a few sessions..........
  7. I agree. Peter Kirsten is also pretty funny. Just a pity the sound is not synchronised with that of the TV.............
  8. Party mense begin threads om net aandag te soek. En hier op die hub kry hulle dit. Goeie genade mense as julle op vakansie is in die wildernis iewers het julle niks beters om te doen as steeds vir konflik te soek nie?
  9. Yep. I guess if Kepler actually did know anything worth while he would have been a coach or team manager of a note worthy team by now. I just dont understand sometimes where the TV stations get some of their commentators. Seems any ex-player can be a commentator. The only guy I really enjoy listening to is Barry Richards. Boeta is also not too bad. Pommy "thats him - got him!!" Mbangwa is boring as hell and has crap theories himself. HD Ackerman was a nice change at first but I get the feeling he is a bit overconfident.
  10. Yes that Guptil oke deserved the ton and the win. It was obvious that the Proteas thought the game was won after batting hence they decided not to field. They literally choked like in the world cup. And I thought only batsmen choke! Behardiens mouth is always so wide open maybe he should try and swallow catches in the future........
  11. Is it just me or are our commentators all idiots? Funny how Kepler Wessels has a lot to say about our batsment and their strike rates etc. Kepler himself averaged a mere 34 in ODI at a strike rate of 55%. This means if you had 2 x Keplers batting through the inning we would post 165 every 50 over match. Also Kepler keeps saying the same **** over. "The openers need to asses the pitch and decide after 6 overs what a good total will be". What does that even mean Kepler? Block the first 30 balls like you would have and then when you are 15 for 0 decide to kick on? Crap. The first 2 or 3 guys should always go out all guns blazing. In the event that they fall then you can have one or two accumulating type players before having the big hitters coming in at 6 and 7. Even Mr Ackerman is very irritating with his critisism of our players. He didnt even make it at international level.
  12. Mongoose! is totally obsessed. He has a biking OCD. Good to know him as he opens lots doors.
  13. Yep, they "ratted" out poor Dangerdassie.
  14. Can anyone confirm that the owner is aware of this thread? Has he read it? Has he said anything?
  15. Finnegan keeps a close eye on his dad moving in to secure dinner. Unfortunately this did not end well for the poor Dassie. I managed to get the bassets away only to see the Retriever kill the poor thing.
  16. Well not everyone likes conflict. Personally I would also have done pretty much the same thing. There is only one real loser here and that is the bike shop. Karma's bike has been sorted and he and a lot of hubbers (and guests we dont even know about) will not go to that shop.
  17. You guys are all wrong. Karma perhaps let too much emotion out in the initial post. (however assuming the arsehole comment did happen I can understand - the guy however needed to be provoked for this to happen as well) The bike shop should have replied and offered to sort it out - maybe posted his cell number or even apologised no matter what - could have actually turned this post around into positive marketing as some other LBS'e have done in the past on the hub. Keeping quiet is an answer in itself. Karma has every right to post his experience on a forum - thats actually the purpose of forums is it not? Should he have gone to Hellopeter rather? Remember we are all humans. The guy from the LBS maybe had a bad day - no one wants to work this time of the year.... I have also had good and bad experiences from the same guy in certain shops. As for Bonus, you cant seriously expect the guy to send an email that has been spell checked by someone else before visiting a LBS. It happened on the fly and if these guys cant understand any form of Afrikaans then I wont go there in anycase - which I wont now due to this thread. It is that time of the year I guess..............
  18. DaveM I have some seriously bad news. The Garf has aquired a 4 spoke front and rear disk wheel. So now you will only see me after the race. Also maybe look out for my scratch pole in T2.
  19. Super excited. Just got a set of TT wheels. Brand new front 4 spoke "Pro" wheel (clincher) Rear solid "Pro" wheel (tubby) Paid R5,000
  20. Dracs I dont live in Joburg anymore. However I can tell you to stay away from Germiston as well as Emmarentia Dam especially after the rains. Maybe look for a dam in the Cradle somewhere? There are plenty of clean dams around there! Also never swim alone.
  21. Will have a look thanks
  22. But thats why there are feeding stations?
  23. Frail. The car stays behind the slowest rider. Halfway everyone waits for the others, we top up and ride back. Everyone rmember your R60 contributions
  24. Is this not what the power balance band also stated?
