Just a quick question, but how is drinking beer apart of the whole Critical Mass? Even one beer while riding magnifies its effects. I know, I used to cycle a lot after a few/ few to many beers. I realise that not everyone will be doing it, but it could lead to the wrong undertones being sent to the general public. I'm not trying to sound like a spoilsport, but it will only take one incident to ruin everything previously achieved, will it not?

Cut your loses, find a decent LBS with a good reputation and get someone that knows whats going on set it for you. You should not be needing to cut anything.
