  1. First things first, where? Something that everyone will be able to participate in. It can't be too hard/ technical for any possible noobies. Possibly Holla/ Giba. In saying that, I'm also keen for somewhere differant.
  2. I've done some dumbass things in my lifetime, and have to agree with you there, stupid mistake. Keep the faith, we will get there
  3. I stopped for three days about two weeks ago, and then started again So frustrating.
  4. Fair enough. It makes me wonder how many people actually find out if a workshop or LBS is an agent before letting them work on the fork. There is only one I can think of for Fox in Durban, for while its still under warrenty.
  5. True, Unless we all walk around with a GoPro on our heads. The one thing I'm confused about regarding this, is that the OP says the fork was within warrenty when the problem first arose?
  6. I thought it was three, your side, my side and then the truth?
  7. Possibly at an LBS, in saying that my LBS has some replacement parts, what they don't stock they refer you to the agents anway.
  8. Just a quick question, but how is drinking beer apart of the whole Critical Mass? Even one beer while riding magnifies its effects. I know, I used to cycle a lot after a few/ few to many beers. I realise that not everyone will be doing it, but it could lead to the wrong undertones being sent to the general public. I'm not trying to sound like a spoilsport, but it will only take one incident to ruin everything previously achieved, will it not?
  9. Have you set a budget for equipment? Helmut, gloves, and possibly some cycling shorts. You should be in for about 1K for those 3 items alone.
  10. Wear one, don't wear one, nothing to do with anyone else if they do or don't. It's their choice/ prerogative.
  11. THIEVES have stolen gold-winning Team GB cyclist Philip Hindes’s bike — but his medal is safe. The cycle was pinched along with his car in a raid on the sports star’s home. Cops fear the bike could now be flogged as a piece of Olympic memorabilia. Race ace Philip, 20, topped the winner’s podium at London 2012 in the Team Sprint alongside Jason Kenny and Sir Chris Hoy. Robbers in Manchester stole his training bike along with the keys to a blue Volkswagen Golf they used as a getaway car. The motor was later found burned out. The 3kg bike, which is worth £2,850, is still missing and is described as being a Pinarello Paris which is red, white and blue and has a Sky sticker and Hindes’ name on. It was not the bike which Hindes rode when he won his Olympic medal. Detective Constable Rob Southern, of Greater Manchester Police, said: “It might be the thieves try and offload the bike on to a sports memorabilia collector so I would urge anyone who is offered the chance to buy such a bike to call police immediately as you could be vital to helping get this bike back." It is feared the burglars struck last week after noticing Hindes, who holds dual British and German nationality, had sent a tweet to his 8,500 followers on Twitter saying: ”Going to Germany tomorrow for a bit of racing and a few days at home!”
  12. I wish they gave me a bloody Big Blue Book of Being Married when I got married.
  13. Cut your loses, find a decent LBS with a good reputation and get someone that knows whats going on set it for you. You should not be needing to cut anything.
