  1. Does this occur in switchbacks or whenever doing a tight left turn? I also find dropping my elbow and shoulder slightly into a tight corner as well as looking through the turn.
  2. That's how it should be done, none of this fancy lycra stuff, it's for sissies
  3. How will I ever know if it is charged at 50% - There is no indicator for battery life?
  4. That's awesome, I guess I know what I'll be doing tonight. Who else was taking photos, are there only the official photographers and this guy?
  5. What if they don't fit your head, I can't wear find a single Spez helmet that is comfortable for me.
  6. + 3 Kask - Mojito. You can't go wrong, try before you buy though, as different brands don't necessarily fit all head shapes.

Where can I get a definitive list of all the MTB races in the Western Cape from small races to the large ones. Possibly Road as well?
  8. Well that knocked my theory out the park for a home run
  9. Surely no one pays more then R150(and that's pushing it) for a pair of socks to MTB in?
  10. Won't they take it back, same as a car? Could you not buy it back from them, and in saying this, would they sell a potentially damaged frame themselves? Surely they couldn't do that if yourself/someone could get injured if the frame was to fail at some stage?
  11. I did all of the above with a Magicshine light and it still died after a year. I bought this on Saturday, http://www.extremelights.co.za/shop/super-high-capacity-6-cell-10200mah/
  12. Now just read something in the long / short/ medium cage derailleur thread that can add weight to this subject
  13. I think this needs to be also posted into the 9 speed conversion thread
  14. Thanks for that Does it damage the battery, cause if it does, what happens to the battery when the lights go out while riding?
  15. So basically a 9 speed crank & rear derailleur mixed with 10 speed shifters, cassette & chain? Mmmm, not sure that will work if what I think will be the set-up.
  16. Quick question, should I run the battery down tonight and then do a full recharge, not sure how much juice is in there. I don't feel like another 8km walk back in the dark, hence me buying a new battery.
  17. I did the road bike on the Sunday to Stanford, had no issues at all, the roads were quite and I enjoyed it more then riding at Hemel the day before, and I'm not a massive roadie to begin with. I guess you're right, you can't please everyone, and if it's all you got then I can understand how you would rave about it so much. Not my cup of tea to be honest. I was expecting so much more from all the hype, maybe that lead to my disappointment.
  18. I've got a frame, wheels, bars, saddle, seat post already - Just need the other bits.
  19. Thanks for the new battery, and special thanks for returning my race number/ packet after forgetting it at your stall as well it was good to finally meet you . Will be testing the new battery tomorrow night at Meerendal night ride.
  20. Both actually, I need to build up a road bike/ fixie and then for the missus a MTB - Will check and PM you. Cheers
