  1. It is definitly an Anthem 3 frame with upgrades. The guy selling has spent money on the bike recently with all the upgrades. Surely based on the money he has spent he should have a pretty good idea of cost and therefore a pretty good idea of what he would want in the sale?
  2. Williams Bike Shop in Somerset West. Builds awesome wheels!!
  3. ZTR FLOWS(strong!) ON CHRIS KING HUBS,YOU WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SET OF WHEELS. The Chris King Hubs are the secret, expensive but in my opinion a different class.
  4. Spleen and kidney's all in tact! Thank goodness. Just flesh wound. TCR Carbon if I have to give an update will have to take all my kit off! Not keen to do that
  5. one week later!! Nice tattoo!
  6. Facepalm, climbed up the back of Mpati and on the jeep track heading down to the concrete road just before the cellphone towers. We normally do the route the other way round. Very impressed, have you ridden our track before?

  10. Dundee MTB Track 1 Me 0!! It's amazing you do a section of track a million times so you assume you can relax.... Don't be fooled!!

  12. Not sure Shaune but I know from last yer they made the batches smaller.
  13. I have been down this road with the seeding as the last two years at Amashova I started in VA group and did 03h01 both times. My thought process was that I was going to slot into VA at 94.7. Have been seeded in D batch last year and this year again. Explanation is that more riders at 94.7 with faster times therefore only so many riders can slot into VA as seeded riders and then you slot into the general classifictions based on your times for seeded races. It does make sense that Amashova only has a couple of thousand riders as to 25000 riders at 94.7.....not unhappy as the pace is till pretty fast in D batch!
  14. Picture of my staffies senslessley poisioned and killed at the beginning of the year in an attempted breakin at my house.Miss them terribly! Other picture of my two new little buddies,Coco the choc lab and Bentley the Beagle.
  15. I could be mistaken but I looked at the nutritional values on both packs when crunch first came out. Firstly I don't think Crunch is Low GI,secondly I remember the sugar content being alot higher. Best bet is to look on the nutrional values on both packs and you will be able to compare.
  16. YOU DON'T HAVE A DOG AND YOU DON'T RIDE A MOUNTAIN BIKE......WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU????
  17. Crackberry, our sport does not need idiots like you!!! Personally I think you are the dumbass! Everybody has different level's of skill and confidence. What seems easy to you might be terrifying to a beginner. What gives you the right to decide who must ride or walk what sections of track??? Show some level of maturity dumbass! If you were a decent mtb rider you would anticipate the bottleneck and make a plan to get through it in the quickest possible way and push to make up the couple of minutes you lost! What are you doing at the back of the field anyway?? Man I get irritated with egotistical MTB riders who think they are Gods gift to mountain biking. Crackberry just realise that your actions and attittude can chase people away from our awesome sport of mountain biking.
  18. Looks pretty real! Not sure how it got tangled in his front suspension. I would have kakked myself!

    anthemX 29er

I had an anthem 26" before and decided to get a 29er. Went with the XTC first and the hardball nearly killed me on the longer distances. I now have the anthem 29er with ZTR Crest wheels and SRAM XX groupset,Happy as Larry!

  25. I ride the Giant Anthem and am extremeley happy with it but only after I put lighter wheels on. When I first got it found it a little sluggish with the standard wheels so put on some ZTR Crests which have made the world of difference. Suspension front and rear is really good. Have also put on a Gobi Saddle as it fit's my ass And put on carbon bar and stem which has given me a weight of 11.5 kg's Scott looks nice but Giant definitly has better componentry which DOES make a difference.
