  2. What, you Skeptical hub guys Don't buy This? Come for the Viewing and Be proved Wrong.
  3. I am so busy at work but for some reason knew I had to check this thread! Tumbles(s), we're behind you guys!
  4. ha ha, yes, it was there!
  5. Looked like saturated ground combined with wind. Also, what you were seeing lying over the trail was only the tips of the branches. Have a look behind the trail and you'll see just how big the tree is, really, do it, it really is something to behold.. I wish I had a phone, I would have taken pictures but to say it looked like a fallen elephant would have been an understatement and grossly unjust! PS, It actually does look like an elephant, just a very, very big one!
  6. .. all clear.
  7. Thanks cadenceblur, will look into it today..
  8. Ouch, will keep an eye out for it. Hope Thule is not selling these racks offering peace of mind that your bikes (and rack) will still be there when you return. All product security testing should be carried out in the Cape.. Lucky you had nothing on it at the time!!
  9. ow, stay strong Evan.
  10. ..there was someone doing this from Taipei sometime ago.. all legit. I would only be concerned about who this guy is and whether he has a rep or not.
  11. There is still a rock at the entry that when the trail level was higher made a near perfect jump line missing the few meters of rough. It was quite a bit rougher then, most of the exposed rocks have since been plucked out the ground by riders (wheels), now they are buried. Oh well, in time it will get back to the rough track we know and love. Must get the rock fixed though. That had flair!
  12. I think there's a firmware update that fixes this issue...
  13. Shame dude. Sorry for your loss. ..never seen one of those before, incredible markings!
  14. but not to be confused with being a club. Bobby, welcome.
  15. How were the funds raised? Has the public contributed? Do you have the right to withhold the funds? What organisation is TMM? Bank account in who's name? Has TMM got too much authority? What consultation process has TMM gone through to seek public input? Time for some relevant answers.. we're waiting.
  16. understood, passion runs deep ..but what has the landowner got to say? They have their own take on the activity.

  18. I went there to find you but must've passed you in the corridor.
  19. I saw the pic come through on twitter this week.. I see your problem but is it really your jurisdiction over what the cafe owner may or may not present. Maybe tell us what steps you've taken to remedy the situation. As I see it so far, the cafe owner has made a move to attract an alternative income through bike rentals. I am only assuming that in return he has offered extensive branding to Scott for the service. Hardly a case for trail closure in objection, certainly not without amicably finding a solution. The threat sounds like it is more to TMM than to the trails.
