  3. We will see who is following who tonight hey Thug!
  4. That doesnt sound right. Tightening your axle bolts (the ones that the skewers clamp against) shouldnt influence the rotation of the freehub body. What wheels are they? I would take them to my local bike shop to check out.
  5. Nice fork!! I used to have the Shiver double crown, and what an awesome fork that was. 190mm of travel, but it weighed about 5kg! Zaskar2009-02-04 01:39:21
  6. Wow, that does look nice, well done Carlo! Not a lot of bikes impress me, but yours is a stunner. Well done!
  7. Whats the weather looking like out that side? Is it still on for tonight?
  8. Go to the manufacturers web page, copy the specs and make an excel spreadsheet. Thats about the easiest way to do it.
  9. Nice frame, but just be careful! I had two of those Diamond Back True Temper Cr-Mo frames between 1994 and 1997 i snapped both of them. The first was a Diamond Back Ascent which snapped clean in half on the right chainstay, and the second was an Apex which snapped on the seat tube just below the FD clamp.

Really sorry to hear this. Wish you all the best with your treatments, and hope to see you back on the bike real soon!

  12. Ouch, glad you came out of that ok! Will be interested to see what Brandon and the guys have to say about this!
  13. Amateur asked me to post these pics, just some of the pet food collected for FORA at the last Gauteng Hub ride!

Thanks! Yeah the red grips were looking tatty already, and seeing as i dont have much red on the bike, i decided to change them. Dont think the white will last very long, but it looks good for now! The tires were good, ran them at 2 bar on sat. Maybe should go slightly lower, and have a bit more grip in the mud next time? I cant really complain, i felt pretty confident during the ride. But must admit they are not as grippy as my Conti Vertical Pro's but then these are much much lighter!
  19. I picked this up last week already, but have not been able to post pics till now. Got the frame / fork / groupset from a freind, then added my wheels, saddle, barends, grips etc. Weighs in at around 9.4kg! Ive already raced Delta Park, and ridden the spruit with it, and it's awesome! Cant wait to ride Sani2C on it!!
  20. WW, hows your leg feeling today?
  21. Actually thats not bad looking at all, but i agree the name sucks.
  22. Johan, can i donate my Marzocchi MX pro for this project?
  23. Wow, nice ride Evan! (I used to have one just like that!) Congrats, and wish you many safe miles on her.
  24. Check out this chart (link below). It has all the info you need. Then call up Cool heat, or your local bike shop, and ask if they have the one you need. The adaptor you need is part number SM-MA-F180S/P. I got one at Mikes Bikes for R85. And like parra says you will have to increase your rotor size to 180mm (SM-RT97M) http://cycle.shimano-eu.com/publish/content/global_cycle/en/nl/index/tech_support/faq_s/compatibility.download.-Par70parsys-0001-downloadFile.html/discbrake_adapter_chart_2008.pdf Zaskar2009-01-22 05:04:51
