  1. Wonder why she never rode during cooler months instead of year end?
  2. Wow seems like you got pretty close to that nope rope.
  3. True. Correct me if I'm wrong but some of ciovita's stuff is top notch quality for the price. So paying for anything else is really just paying for the brand or to be different, which IMO is a small subset of people.
  4. Which bikerack is scratching your frame? Try putting a microfibre cloth around your frame, and then clamping.
  5. Did anyone from the group possibly see you after the incident with the injuries and check to see if you were okay on the side of the road? Because if nobody from his group saw/knew what happened, then we can't really expect anyone to come forward. Unless the perp told his group of what transpired after the fact..
  6. I think motorists honestly dont think about the fact that they share the road with cyclists. Not sure how it is in other countries but when you do your learners, cyclists and bicycles are not a part of the driving process as far as I can remember (could be wrong, been many years). And if you're not a cyclist, you'll never really think to be alert for cyclists when driving. I will be honest, before I started cycling I never really looked out for them on the road, because I was too busy worrying about taxis and how k@k people drive.
  7. If that's the case, hopefully someone message's OP anonymously 🤞
  8. Agreed. I cant see how this led to the result it did. If OP stuck out his hand to diffuse the situation and then the perp just maliciously sucker punched OP then it's truly absurd.
  9. Works great.
  10. Why enter a race if you know you're not gonna win?
  11. Seems a piece of the black rubber strip on my thule aerobars came off somehow, or was nicked. Not really looking to buy a whole set, so does anyone have about a half a length laying around that they not using? CPT based
  12. No. Microshift...
  13. Exactly, people will look at an argument from a certain viewpoint, battery life for example. If that was the case everyone would be driving around in small diesel cars getting 800km on a tank, but they're not are they?
  14. Get someone to swap out the battery along the way for you. Like a F1 pitstop. If its a sub 2 second swap, I'll allow it..
  15. Perhaps OP doesn't know the value of a plug and thinks that a plug is just a quick fix or a way of cutting corners... Wouldn't worry about it, get some sealant in there and I'm sure it'll hold. Obviously I do agree somewhat that if you bought a bike, the tyre should hold air, I can see how that would be a bit disheartening. Good luck.
  16. Two troubleshooting options to reset it (might not fix your issue but worth a try) 1. Take a safety pin, open it up and make contact with the positive and negative using each ends of the pin. 2. Reverse battery in for 20 seconds. Then install battery correctly. Maybe your battery is almost dead?
  17. That's awesome, I see a lot of Garmin users in the U.S doing that as well. Jealous. Give us pics and thoughts when its on your wrist please
  18. I literally had someone reply to my advert of an amplifier by saying that something internally was broken, and then proceeded to make an offer of 20% of the asking price. Comedic gold that FB marketplace is, gotta love it.
  19. Definitely a step in the right direction.. I think if it's one company that has the budget and development to compete with Garmin, its Apple. Most iphone users I know, who take fitness seriously, tend to have a Garmin on their wrist, hence I can see why Apple would tap more into the fitness watch market. I'm interested to see how mapping against a course will look like on it. The diving computer capabilities are a real game changer for some folk I'd imagine.
  20. You dont need an account to come here
  21. Oh okay, not too sure what to do with small cuts. In my experience glue alone doesnt really work. But for bigger cuts, some stitching with dental floss and a puncture patch always does the trick..
