Impulse bought a sale item off CRC on Sunday afternoon. Logged on 10 minutes ago, to start tracking the order - wanted to get a guestimate of how long it would be at Customs etc. etc. DHL website - item was delivered just after lunch this afternoon. Signed for by one of the secretaries. That's 2 and a half days, Belfast to Stellenbosch. I know there are plenty of these posts around - but man, it rocks when it happens to you!

In the interests of consistency, the pics that were reported, have been removed from here as well. A reason was left on the awesome thread.

What I want to know, is how on earth do they measure the waves? This one apparently beat the previous world record by a foot and a 1/2, or something... Says who? The dude, in the water, with the tape-measure? Crazy wave that, regardless.

That happened to us once. Only we weren't screaming. And we were on bikes. And there were hundreds of cows. And no horse. True. Story.
