  1. Morning Cassie I sent you a e-mail a few minutes after you sent me a PM to the e-mail address you said I must rather contact you at? I'll PM what I sent to you in the e-mail now
  2. you sure that the shoes aren't clogged with old dry mud at the cleat?
  3. otherwise if you want really challenging try the babbas races takes coat and quietly leaves
  4. I'd say the Vori berg races are quite nice, have also heard that the redstone race can be a little challenging? but haven't done any myself
  5. have just finished my own personal battery run time test Constant (LED + Laser) = 8h Constant (LED only) = 12h Flashing mode (LED only) = 30h sorry about the earlier claims being incorrect, it appears that there was a language breakdown between me and the supplier when I asked via e-mail.
  6. imagine falling in a rock garden at 50km/h period skin suit or american football lol
  7. well I got them at a bargain from the manufacturer, so don't see why I'd need to rip people off by putting a HUGE mark up on
  8. have uploaded a video for those interested, tried taking photo's but man it hard when the light is the light source and shining straight at the camera
  9. here is a video I've just taken, don't have a fancy video camera so had to make due with my cellphone took the video at about the height of a person sitting in a 4x4 / fortuner type car and under the street lights here at rez, so similar lighting to that of a person riding along the road, and not total darkness
  10. I wouldn't know those are some of the pictures I got from the supplier will take some tonight, with my own camera, and no photoshop
  11. Check your e-mail, should be a tracking number waiting for you, dropped a few orders off at the post office this morning
  12. Hi Guys I was meant to take some actual photos last night, but the test I'm writing this morning is a little more hectic then I thought it was going to be, I promise I'll take some photo's tonight when its nice and dark, or try make a plan to find a dark room this afternoon.
  13. I had custom kit made through them last year and have one or two team kit replica's shamy is the standard coolmax padding stitching is alright, haven't had any of the kit come undone, for rides up to 3 hours I'd say the bibs are fine, just make sure the kit you order doesnt have elastic on the arms, sizing is also the standard Chinese sizing
  14. you can order off my site or drop me a PM and we can arrange something for you
  15. me too, seeing that I've made the investment to bring them in lol No problem, have one on the charger right now, once charged I'll do a battery test and report back in about 2 days time once its run flat.
  16. Will take a picture for you later tonight when its nice and dark, at 50 and 100m
  17. to be quite honest I don't think so. unless the post has a round portion to it somewhere? the round part of the clamp is hard plastic has a internal diameter of 32mm, see above pictures
  18. as answered for Wayne, manufacturer told me 30 hours on constant, they come with a nice 1000mAh Li-ion battery please see previous post regarding battery life
  19. I wish the idea was mine lol, one of the reasons I like these lights, Edit: dont want anyone to read possible false facts have just finished a battery test myself run times are as follows: Constant, LED's + Laser = 8 hours Constant LED's only = 12 hours LED flashing mode = 30 hours (manufacturer had a bit of a translation error via e-mail)
  20. yip they do. light has 2 buttons on the top for turning on either Laser or LED,
  21. have just received a shipment of tail lights from my suppliers . seeing that there have been quite a few threads of late about silly people riding bikes on roads in the dark with no lights, I thought these would be a good thing to sell have been using one myself for the last 4 months and am super impressed, charge lasts forever and when it finally goes flat no need to run to the shops or search of batteries, just simply stick the light on the charger. the lane lasers would also be pretty cool for critical mass night rides, or night rides in general check out my website for those interested, asking price is only R249 http://www.radcycles.co.za/index.php?id_product=14&controller=product
  22. what ever you decide on, be sure to check out fit tracks online store. I found them to have the cheapest prices on garmin and bryton? http://shop.fittrack.co.za.
  23. they've worked on that issue now from what I understand. the old 1st gen monitors leaked like a rusty bucket (one you get with the rider 35 and older) the new 2nd gen sensors have been redesigned and actually seal, the strap is also alot more comfortable (so far haven't had issues with my replacement)
  24. I'd go with the Bryton main reason being that the battery life on the Bryton is a lot more then the Garmin. Otherwise they do pretty much the same. in terms of the South African bryton agents, I can only say good things with the dealings I've had with them (had a faulty HR strap that they replaced within a matter of days and no hassles since)
  25. I see results are up on spectrum sport for those interested http://www.spectrumsport.co.za/Portals/17/ResultDoc/Magalies_Monster_MTB_20130525.pdf I see the last recorded time for the 75km was 8 hours plus, respect to those guys and girls, and well done to the other 407 finishers was a very tough day at the office today, my palms are still feeling a little tender, and the legs are definitely feeling it now.
