If you can pick up a CAAD 10 with Ultegra it will last you forever. The CR1 Team which comes with 105 is listed at under 20k and thats full carbon. The CR1 falls into the plush category. 20 k can buy a nice pair of Zipp 404's.

Caad10 with 105 is about 17500 as well.

Caad 10 or CR1is nice but what you really need is a Colnago C59 or M10 with minimum Campag Record or Super Record. 20 k will buy you some nice Assos kit with Sidi Ergo 3 shoes and a R2500-3000 helmet like Bell, Giro or Spez. For borrowing money to buy yr 80-100k bike check out the other threads on selling your soul to the bank or disposing of your house or car to fund your bike.

I'm putting a bike together piece by piece and yes its taking time but I have a perfectly good working bike to last me. Are you just buying on impulse or do you really need it right now. Nice thing of putting something together is you get to choose exactly what you want without having to upgrade later on if you had bought a stock bike off the floor.

For 20 K I would rather buy a new Cannondale CAAD 10 with Ultegra. A far better bike in my opinion and most likely even lighter.
