  3. Is it true that Vitus is now owned by CRC and manufactured in Taiwan?
  4. Strava. I use the free version on my Iphone. The PC interface is quite cool if you wanna look at more stats like elevation.
  5. Rockets does a custom pair based on your measurements. Not sure if they have an agent in your area.
  6. @hellocolour, custom frame fit, the lugged frame is said to be better than a moulded frame. I would'nt want a Colnago to be made any other way. It's a work of art made in a jig like a bicycle should be made. A moulded frame is just that, it comes from a mould. Head over to colnago.com and watch the videos on how Colnagos are made. Be warned you might just fall in love.
  7. The font of decal is said to change as well, all attributed to Ernesto's nephew who is heading up design. It will still be a tube to tube construction so likelihood is that manufacturing will remain in Italy. It will be dissapointing if they move away from threaded BB because even with new Campag Over-torque crank a cup set is available for threaded BB's.
  8. How's this for watching bikes while you ride your bike.
  9. Suspended bicycle roundabout in Netherlands.
  10. Probably bad business. The price on their wheels were quite comparable to other top brands and the specs in terms of weight and design were good.
  11. Besides Lightweight these must be of the sexiest wheels around. I can't afford them, but they still sexy. Who is going to honour the warranties?
  12. I leave 2 frozen chocolate Steri-stumpie in my car which I have asap. When I get home i have a whey-protein shake. Consuming more proteins has you feeling fuller for longer. Plan your meals especially if you are trying to lose weight. If you don't you just gonna eat the first thing you come across or stop at a McD's. If you have to stop at takeaways go for the healthier option like Nando's.
  13. @babse, like a boss! Meezo post the pics as well.
  14. Chilling in a nice cold pool does wonders for the legs. I have used a cold bath before with some ice thrown in for extra effect.
  15. Pm Meezo or babse as they have brought these in. They ride league as well so should be able to give you feedback as to hard riding conditions.
  16. @Swiss, anti-inflammatories are not advisable in a sports setting in the immediate day or two following strenuous exercise. There are more chances of causing kidney damage especially if you do not hydrate properly post exercise. With strenuous exercise comes a certain amount muscle damage releasing myoglobin which in turn causes kidney injury as it could hamper the filtration functionality of kidneys. If substances like potassium are then not filtered from system it could cause abnormal heart rhythms. In SA the consensus in emergency units is to avoid anti-inflammatories for all sports related injuries especially fractures. Using Arnica oil or other massage ointments is better suited for sore muscles.
  17. From reading on international forums it's reported that Colnago will be releasing the C60 later this year. Sad thing, in opinion is that indications are that it will only be supplied with BB30. For some purists the dismay is that it will also only be avaable in a sloping geometry. One good thing is that it will be a dual fitment for mechanical and electronic groupsets. What say you?
