  1. I see from website they are certified road tubeless. Not sure who actually makes tubeless tyres for road or if you just use a standard clincher. I would just run some GP4000s for race day with some ultralight Vittoria tubes for convenience and economy.
  2. If you are shipping to an EU country does that not mean you have to pay EU tax. When I buy from Bike24 it deducts tax as soon as you choose SA.
  3. That is some seriously hot pedals. Congrats.
  4. Any chance you got her registration? Maybe just get an incident number at cop shop in case you need ut. Hope you're not 'eina' tomorrow morning.
  5. Garmin has new sponsor for helmets and eyewear. http://news.pocsports.com/2014/01/10/poc-and-team-garmin-sharp-announce-partnership/
  6. Stay seated and find the smoothest part of road. Don't push your own limits by trying to follow others. Avoid sudden accelerations while standing if you have too. Take one of these as well.
  7. My post was merely to state what it actually is. You're right it's not a word just like 'watchamacallit'.
  8. I see that Lampre has also switched to Q-rings for 2014.
  9. From Osymetric website, The OSYMETRIC ring is not an oval nor an ellipse – it is a twin cam shaped to win. This patented design reduces the gear and the effort needed to get through what is commonly called the “dead spot” in everyones pedal stroke.
  10. Its not something you are going to see a benefit from in one ride. Rotor even has a program you have to follow for first two or three weeks to get you in the 'spin' of things. Works fior Sky and Garmin.
  11. Hopes and dreams for the new year. Thanks Dale.
  12. Will these still use the current Blade cleats or are there new cleats specific to the model?
  13. How are you finding the new generation Blades? Which tension did you get?
  14. Aquacrazy all the way. Aunty Rae if she is still there works wonders with kids.
  15. Welcome back. Book yourself an Ergofit (www.sciencetosport.com) and get yourself assessed to determine which frame geometry best suits you. Not everyone is accustomed to riding a bike with race geometry. 25K is a fair amount of money to spend on the wrong bike. Get a bike with a good carbon frame, components can always be upgraded as time goes on. 105 should be ample to start out with. Get the bike set up properly, discuss this with your Ergofit technician so you can bring bike with you to get settings dialled in and checked with you on bike. Good luck.
  16. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/shimano-dura-ace-9000-11spd-groupset http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/sram-red-22-11spd-groupset What do you mean about crank? Im 1.85m and 75kg and I ride a 53/39 with a 12-25. I seldomly even use my the 25. It's a good price compared to stores
  17. If I had to choose anything besides Campy I would go with Red 22. Check with Pornstar about a good deal. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/56125-sram-22-brand-new-red-groupset/
  18. Nothing seems to be broken on that fine machine. Leave as is IMO.
