Had 13 hours to kill while restricted to an aisle seat, so managed to watch 7 of the 8 episodes, in between reading and some power naps. Touches a few good moral points in life, eg. most Dads would want to protect their daughter(s) from life changing events, i.e. early pregnancy and/or a car wreck. And then careers over family life.

Given that one pedals the majority of the time when on a trainer, compared to riding outside (more variable), who actually takes time off on a longer endurance ride? Even just to stretch the legs, go for a pee, etc.? It happens outside, so why should it be any different indoors? Rhetorical question.

Do your intervals sessions (if you do these) on the trainer and then invest in some good quality gear to withstand the elements outside. Using the Robo Pacer (Zwift) or the Pace Partner (indieVelo) helps, as well we riding with ERG mode off, helps pass the time without any interruptions.
