  2. check out a previous post on thehub about KCNC https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/84870-what-will-probably-break-first/
  3. Okay...have u ever seen this happen to a SRAM or Shimano crank? Frames will always crack...but you will never just see something snap like that.
  4. Until it snaps!! I seen some KCNC products snap before and boy was it funny when their super light stem just gave away....i'd rather add the 50g than pick my teeth up in the road. I believe when it comes to handlebars, stems and seatposts get something which will actually last and not break off...even if it is to add the 100g extra
  5. Was he the only one riding in snow? I think he should stop blaming mechanicals as they all were in the same boat, the others was just clever enough to shift more often to keep the snow from forming on the casette.
  6. If you can drive a maseratti you can have it fixed.
  7. He didnt perhaps ride on a black Focus bike?
  8. Medium will be to small....I tried a medium...was to small....went for Large instead...I am 1.84m tall. I agree with Henk.
  9. maybe he is trying to say he can sell us a cheap as roadbike for a price similar to what you pay for a carbon bike as you will get the same results? Do you trade with Niels Wheels?
  10. I disagree here...I was able to notice a huge difference coming from a Alu bike to an full carbon bike....I had a Scott Speedster S4 and upgraded to the Fondriest TF3...and eventually to the TF2 It made me faster, I noticed a increase of about 2km/h in my average over a 50km route....also the weight saving helped a lot on the climbs...I noticed racing with Tubbies also makes it an easier ride when racing as your rolling resitance just feels better.... But anyway, this is my opinion....but if you not a fit racing snake you wont really notce a different.

  12. That is going to be a bitch in the rain....can already see how peple fall due to wheels slipping
  13. Sorry to hear about your loss...not cool at all seeing this happen as it happened about three times to us before Just for interest sake, was this an original Dogma 2 with original Enve wheels?
  14. I got mine at the Kodak store... You can also try DueSouth, they had a few in stock when I was there.
  15. This left a lump in my throat, not only was he a legend but one of my role models. I always enjoyed watching him race, his awesome bike position, the way he use to fly up the climbs...he achieved what most of us only dream off. Probably one of the only few SA people who always waved the SA flag in the sky when riding his way to victory... RIP Burry
  16. I tighten it with a screw driver, works very well. You can just use your multitool to tighten it....and for the tube things, I done the same and works the bomb.
  17. lol, I think they start work on the 7th again, so you will only get your stuff next year.
  18. just close this topic, it is another issue which will always be an issue....
  19. my Garmin restarted by itself today, basically losing about 78km of data, so it ruiend my whole plan...so no 500 challenge for me, altho I did the miles.
  20. I reinstalled the Garmin connector Plug-In
  21. did you run the GoPro update yet before using it?
  22. yea...it is the Edge 500, first time I ever experienced this...sucks tho! Was planning to finish the 500 challenge with a shirt 40km tomor, oh well....I added it manually, no time zones though.
  23. Today on my long base ride, my garmin decided to restart only recording the last section..... What is the cause of this? Is there a way I can get the data back?
  24. Exactly, just wanted to warn everyone
  25. Was cancelled due to the windy weather conditions, went for a 80km one by myself....how do you know about the rides?
