i almost got arrested the other night.those of you who have been recently or are students in stellenbosch will know that the adt guys patrol on bikes.so one night about two weeks ago on my way home from town(slightly intoxicated) i tell one of these guys to give me his bike,so eventually the guy gives me his bike and im riding up and down doing victory salutes(and i didnt fall although apparently i was very close to it) and then my frends shouting at me to get off the bike as there is a cop with him and he wants to arrest me.this guy with him had no uniform on so i thought he was playing a joke one me.eventually after much screaming and shouting i get off the bike,the popo shows me his card and i apologise profusely and he let me go... thanks for not arresting me police guy

ok cool,would be nice if they didnt clash... im sure a few people doing sani 2 c would like to do tour de boland before sani 2 c as it is good training... i personally would... and seems a bit silly clashing two boggosh tours

will tour boland clash with sani 2 c??

true words those but there are also benfits to the licence... would TBW be willing to fork out to pay for it??its almost worth going back to the old system or a new different system... im not a great fan of the protour system...

give some info about yourself,general info like a normal cv,include a couple of intrests etc,make it intresting!then obvioously all your results,break it up into diff types of races,like road,mtb wateva u do,if you have any pics in magazines or results that were in newspapers include those too!good luck!

so no one has tried theose squirt lube things that attach to your frame?

yup im using spray and cook already!!it works for like the first 10-15km... and then ok for the next 20km and then if you did the stellenbosch mtb challenge it didnt work for the last 20km...

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions with regards to riding your mtb in the mud,ie stoping chain suck and keeping your gears working relatively well untill the end of the race/ride... also has anyone ever bought one of those squirt syringe things that you attach to your frame and you can lube it will you ride

i think the water dilutes the "GI" i stand to be corrected though...
