Any more info on the progression of this? Or some bike pics?
Hey guys, does anybody have or know where I can find a Shimano Ispec EV shifter mount?
Does anybody have or maybe know where I can get Shimano Ispec EV shifter mount?

Try Avid which is also brake fluid, if the size is the same.
Formula Cura and Cura 4 brakes are mineral oil, not DOT fluid

Willie van Eck won the MP XC series on a Pyga Slakline, 160/170 Enduro bike, and then also wins the MP Enduro series riding the Slakline with a 36T chainring 🫠

Fair enough, there is a really shocking lack of basic skills out there
12 minutes ago, Sandro said:As already mentioned, rather do the 25 km first. You need to have a seeding for longer rides to do the 50 km anyway else you won't be able to enter. Maybe try some of the other rides like the Trailseeker series first to get first hand experience of the rides. Most importantly, have fun.
I entered the 55km 947 MTB race with zero seeding or any longer "recorded" rides, you just get a crappy starting time
In my personal opinion, the 55km is not technical at all, but, the distance is a real challenge to finish, especially as a new rider

183cm with 82cm inseam
@Titan Racing Bikesplease can you confirm something for me, I am considering getting a Stryker, but on your website there are 2 size guides under the stryker, one says the Large will be to small, the other is spot on for me, how do I know which guide is correct? Screen shot off your site is attached

You're going to have to explain that bit in bold to me.
If you are selling something, and I want to buy over BikeHub pay, we are in different provinces, we agree on amount yada yada, you send me the parts, but I "don't recieve" them, I tell BikeHub I never recieved th bits, you have no actual proof if I recieved them or not, the signed courier waybill means someone got it, not necessarily me.
Yes some couriers you need a pin to recieve the goods, or PostNet you need your ID, but I regularly get stuff from couriers without needing any proof of ID, Scammers can take advantage of those situations
The stems hole is smaller than the steerer tube diameter, how on earth is a bush going to solve this guys problem?

Ding ding ding.... you're welcome 😜
18 hours ago, Jbr said:The caps that cover the bearings on the pulley wheels are all the same, both on the garbaruk and on the gx axs stock cage, maybe on the older mechanical derailleurs there was one a bit deeper, but not on mine
Sorry to be that guy, but did you check all four of the washers/spacers?
Really nice looking bike, but I would prefer to have mechanical GX and Code RSC brakes on the Elite model, and maybe a 200mm rotor up front, doing that they could even drop the price a little, brakes and suspension are far more important than drivetrain on this kind of bike, in my opinion atleast
2 hours ago, droo said:The VI of the Maxima stuff that RS uses is double that of the Motul fork oil, how much of a difference that makes will depend on how hard you're pushing the fork. The VI400 is higher than the Maxima, but they don't make it anymore so it'll only work if you can find some old stock somewhere.
Viscosities are all close enough as makes no difference.
Ok thanks, looks like I will just have to swallow my pride and go for the Motorex then, it is very close to Maxima plush, slightly better in fact, and much MUCH cheaper
Also, after having read through this thread, I am quite pleased to see that slideway oil can be used for the lowers, now when my fox gold is done, I can just pinch some slideway oil from work 🤣🤣🤣

Ya, but that is KTM oil, and well, need I say more 🤣🤣
1 minute ago, DieselnDust said:What fork is it?
is it still under warranty?
Its a 2021 Rockshox Lyrik select+, dont think it has any warranty anymore
Question for @drooand @DieselnDust
I want to do a damper service on my fork, and I am just wondering what damper fluid would be best? Is a normal fork damper fluid ie Motul factory line 2.5w fork oil a better choice than say Motul High VI 400 shock oil? And what is the reasoning?
Slight thread jack, anyone know what to use to remove powder coating?

When did dogs learn to type????😬
1 hour ago, DieselnDust said:Shimano? Highly unlikely I’ll go that way unless desperate. SRAM rumoured to be introducing a mechanical Transmission later this year to address cost concerns. The American and European markets new bike sales have slowed dramatically and China is going to be a very competitive market going forward.
So just a direct mount derailleur surely? Doesnt the T Type only really work as AXS because with the electronic shifting they can "time" the shifts to be at the perfect spot? That isn't possible with a mechanical system

Idea is to take it back to where you bought it. The store should then sort it out with CCS. That way CCS knows they actually supplied the product in the first place.
Imagine having to handle a warranty claim for a product that you never distributed in the first place (and so we got the geo locked distributor monopoly which is a whole other topic for another day😅).
All of this is just conjecture on my part.
Happy to to be corrected if I am wrong😁
I will try that as well, although, I did actually open my eyes and looked properly on their website last night, and found both an email and a phone number 🤣 so sent an email, I bought the pack from Takealot, so I thought going straight to CCS will be easier, will have to try both avenues...
