Had a big scare on Wednesday night, thought I was having a heart attack. That was ruled out but then a suspected clot going to the lung ..... fortunately it turned out to be an inflamed 'inter costal' muscle! Back on the bike yesterday and today easy, can't wait for 24hr solo this weekend
Those tubeless 'snot' strips that now come in different sizes are useful if you get a puncture that the sealant doesn't 'plug' In fact at Sabie Experience pre ride I got a side wall cut and put 4 of the bigger ones in and it got me through 30k's
Mmmmmm not out on your own, I'd hate something to happen to you! Maybe you should invite an old slow top like me along and they won't feel 'threatened'
I was also in F and had a great race, thanks guys/girls! Sorry I ran out of steam a bit towards the end but those MTB k's in the legs from Saturday made for tough going
I don't mind someone tagging along like Ratty says when they clearly will only slow things down if they do come to the front but having said that, many times they have a 'miraculous' recovery just before the finish and leave you for dead - that's not on!
Rode with one of your guys I think at SabieX pre ride, what a great lad! Very impressed, good attitude, good sense of humour and always keen to help with anyone's bike problems and strong as a frikkin OX!
