  1. All I hear is blah blah blah *buy more bikes you stoopid cyclists* blah blah blah
  2. Mmmmmmmm now you will upset the roadies, nothing to do with Schleck/Contador but the 'secret code' that exists amongst them (professional road cyclists)
  3. Contrary to what you may have heard Wolverine is none of those - I still wouldn't upset him though
  4. Maybe it's just us in the souf, but some greet some don't (from runners to roadies to MTBr's). Those who do it's cool, those who don't so what I find most do greet back and I ride road and MTB almost equally, is it really an issue
  5. Nice one hubbers
  6. Weight picture on couch
  7. We have 2 repaired MTB frames in the 'arsenal'. One on the rear stay and one on the top tube. I am not a small dude as per the name (BEEG S!) and I ride the one with the repaired stay (for nearly 2 years now) no worries. The top tube one my laaitie rides he is a lightweight but rides somewhat more 'aggressively' and less frequent I guess it depends on the 'repairer' then?
  8. Mmmmmm 'Nokia Sports Tracker' officially ..... me finks
  9. Ok lets not confuse Sportstracker for the Nokia phone with Sportstracker for the PC ..... Sportstracker for the PC can import Garmin data no problem!
  10. Just a thought if you have changed chain and cassette, what about middle chainring ..... use it, don't use it
  11. Bob Bob Bob ..... but +1 on Sportstracker for Nokia, use it on my E71 and N97 no problem! Latest version is pretty cool, if you want you get a bluetooth HRM belt as well
  12. SS = Single Speed = nutters
  13. 'One secret you can learn from the slowest climbers of all, sprinters, is to drift. Professional sprinters are the sneakiest of all. They will start climbs at the very front and drift all the way back to last place. Then on the descents, in between climbs, they will make up all the spots they lost by doing daredevil moves to get to the front before the next climb begins.' VIVA drifters VIVA
  14. Try to have a goal for each training session - i.e. hill repeats, sprint repeats, recovery, endurance ..... Just an idea: 1 hill repeat session per week, next a recovery ride then a sprint interval session and your endurance on the weekend Disclaimer - I am just a hacker who tries my best so take this as it is intended (use it, don't use it in other words)
