  1. guess you got your answer........
  2. There, I fixed it
  3. Hey man, spotted you in the mix yesterday. Still shouted but As most guys are, you looked in the zone.
  4. I wouldn't mind getting a little wind if it guarantees us an awesome day on the 11th March...... don't need to use up all our 'good weather' credits on shorter races
  5. Must enter now! Edit: ENTERED! WOOOHOOOO , bring on the pain (or not)
  6. Chances are that the sun was shining in the driver's eyes....... sound familiar to a recent accident (couple months back) ?! Drivers, if you can't see, stay out of the yellow lane!
  7. Heal well rider! Sheesh, with the roads being so busy this time of year, I'd hate for the accident count to increase
  8. Training ride was good. See you next Sunday?
  9. Well done on the first attempt then! Don't over do it though. Saturday is the old Wilde race with the only big thing being Botmas Pas and the rollers along Malmesbury road. Sunday is a good portion of the 'world funride championships' - I am doing that!
  10. You mean you took their pegs and cooler box but realised that you couldn't fit it on your scooter? LOL
  11. 'Staple' LT. One of those packaging ones they use on boxes. They will even sort your car tyre out for you. Not lekka! Big J is bigger (read taller) than me as far as I can remember - but seeing his average, he should at least be a B/C/D PPA rider. btw he does loads of MTB stuff.
  12. Nice racing B. Pity about the cramming at the mats - happens at most races trick is to keep going past the finish line and hit the mats hard - it's for time, not position. Take it easy on Kerri this week. LOL.
  13. Went good. Skipped the pass for some iced cappuccino's and headed back. Head wind was a killer on the way there but was a welcomed push on the way back - no real red line stuff but averaged 29Km/h over 89Km.
  14. That was us ja - cheering you guys on
  15. Nah, doing a ride from Wellington to the top of Franschoek pass and back. Might see you guys on the road if we get out at the right time
  16. Yeah man. Have a great ride! Been a while man. Last I saw you was in the wee hours one weekday morning with MariusL
  17. Yeah! Great move man! I would have been as worried about my injuries as my bike in an instance like that.
  18. yeah, they mentioned that he was possibly riding the argus.... not 100% confirmed though. Also may have had rolling road closure. But then again, what example does that set? Parliamentarians get road closures to protect them, but the pleb on the street has to fight with cars, trucks and taxi's to keep their lives safe and get to their destination in one piece I am irritated this evening, so anything at this point will grate me! NEED to go ride!!!
  19. So I am watching the SABC 3 news this evening and they have a report of Fikile riding with a 'peleton' promoting drug free sport...... The problem I have with this is that they took over the entire width of of the road! Riding over a solid white line! (and they show this on TV). Great that he is pushing drug free sport, but what message is he communicating to the public? Every week there is a rant about idiot cyclists that ride stupidly, but surely the heads of sport should know the rules of the road?! and so should the other cyclists?! My rant for the day.....
  20. Hectic! Heal up soon John Slightly off topic: did they at least get the taxi drivers details? (for possible criminal case). Just hope that the person didn't just drive off and leave him there!
  21. Yeah, what is the story man?!
  22. It's because the average shop has to go through the registered distributor whereas CWC imports direct through their contacts i.e. no middle man.
