  10. Maybe you could also have a look at the Medac Bibs. If I'm not mistaken it gets sold by the same guys that does the Rockets Compression gear. Had mine since 2011 and still going strong. Material starting to fade now, but if I had to choose, I would choose them over the Due South Bibs my wife got me last year. If I recall correctly, they were around 550 mandelas at that time
  11. She's been awfully quiet on the Hub lately....but yep hope she has an awesome day.
  12. I rarely do races these days (mtb). Found that I started having more fun by riding as much as I can wherever. Join a group on weekends. I treat my mistress to something nice once a year (for this I save), and then in between its servicing, lube and other sundry items that you don't really keep track of. So I guess R500 p/m is about it
  13. Any ideas on how to make your own carrier to fit in the load bin of bakkie? Have any of you done that?
  14. We get to ride on most of the trails at the Barn almost every weekend....so no use in entering. Maybe if they have one at another venue I haven't been before I will enter
  15. Good points made.... I do however keep my passwords closely guarded
  16. My Hub name is basically my real name and first letter of surname Been called Rudo(lph) by varsity mates. Its also a shortened version of my username for work emails and stuff. So howzit (once again) folks
  17. All of a sudden that legendary thread "how to remove skidmarks from your shammy" comes to mind... for OP's reference: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/108895-skid-marks-on-your-shammy/page__fromsearch__1

    Man Cave v2.0

Mine is still a work in progress. but here are two pics just after we moved into our new house. Looking at the other caves, I need more bikes for sure. Only addition from the pics is a tv and dvd player.
  20. Then I'm responsible for the genocide that took place in 2013! All jokes aside. For me it depends on the conditions I rode in. Dusty/dry conditions? just the chain/cassette/derailleurs. For this I will use either powasol/pink stuff. and then the chain with RnR extreme blue to round it off. Once a week I will give the bike a good clean and each time after a muddy ride she will be washed with the love and care a mistress deserves...
  21. Yep hectic story indeed.... I may have posted this before, but I've been wearing my Dad's watch for most of the time since his passing in Feb last year. A plain old Casio Quartz and still hasn't lost a second... BTW some very nice watches on here!
