    Take everything off the bike and weigh it. The amount the scale shows will be how much weight you took of the bike.

    Criminal charges should be laid against that Cash Crusaders. They are dealing in stolen goods.

    When some of these small races start costing you more than R6/km and the longest route they have is less than 50km. Lack of proper signage. Lack of single track. Tar sections at a MTB race. Lack of proper seeding. Inept organisers.

    Rode the last 4days with a blown knee after a rather hectic crash. Made for some choice words while trying to pedal up the climbs. Rode 90% of the climbs but had to walk a few short sharp ones. But I got my medal and want more. Overlord (Onetime)

    Hoogekraal will be closed tomorrow due to the Epic. Contermanskloof has got a down hill track that you will enjoy. Permit is by means of the honesty box system. Please ensure that you do make use of it.

    Hope they will have a proper breakfast this year. Last year was a bit of a let down. Nothing fancy but may be some oats.

    I have ridden that hard tail and can say with confidence it feels smooth. Rides very well and stiff as hell. Accelerates like crazy and jumps very nice.

    Question remains. What about all the customers that bought bikes or anything cycling related from the shops implicated in this? The law was broken and customers were taken advantage off for self gain. Somewhere the customer needs to be looked after.

    Grabs your attention doesn't it? That is what could easily be the next topic here on the hub. On may to work this morning and still dark outside I counted 7 cyclists with no lights on their bikes. Some even ignoring a very nice cycling path and riding on a very dicey stretch of road shared by trucks and cars. If they get knocked over who is to blame? We all then start to rant and rave about motorists and the way they drive. If you can afford the bike surely you can afford a light. If not wait until the sun is shining then go and train. Ride in the dark with no lights and get knocked over or possibly even killed is not going to get you any sympathy from me. You deserved it.
