  1. OK so what happens here is that because this route was given on a hard drive the software does not recognize it as the same route as what we rode/raced last night, thus it will want you to upload it to the internet as a new route, not ideal. so here is the important part for all these online race with video (which is all of them) you will need to download the route off the internet even if you have the route on your hard drive that we have given you. sorry for this. i dont think there is a little fix that we could do to solve this but i will ask.
  2. G3 hub weight is around 320g for the road and a top end Zipp hub is around 200g however when built into the 46mm wheel set net weight is 30 less than the equivalent Zipp 303 with PowerTap. for MTB agreed we are heavier for now but then again we are the only real mass PM on offer at the moment and i know what is coming form PT soooooooo hold those horses is all we can say for now
  3. cough cough, um maybe go look at our 46mm full carbon clincher wheel set, RRP only R20 995 weight 1590g thats 30g lighter than a set of Zipp 303 with a PT in it....... the PT G3 is South Africa's lightest Power Meter...... net weight gain is less than 80g
  4. Race # 3 is now online: http://my.virtualtra...m/en/onlinerace get cracking guys this is a really nasty ride with a much harder hill right at the end. ive ridden this hill in my pro days and its just as hard on real life as it is on the IDT, maybe do some try runs to get a feel for it. O BTW you will be up against the Trek Factory Racing Boys
  5. did you get the route from us on a hard drive? if this is that case then i think i know the problem.
  6. i was also having that problem but as soon as i got into the office it was successfully uploaded, here is the file for those interested: http://my.virtualtraining.cycleops.com/en/dave/workout/218003?target=calendar&period=month
  7. reliability is all we can say, and local support.
  8. good point, lets look at adding 5% to your over all time should internet kick you out of an online race.

  14. i like this idea, hopefully in August we can have another kind of challenge and this would well be it. but man alive i don't think my legs can take much of this 300w ave for 40+ min, feeling rather shattered at the moment and will be looking forward to a nice recover ride tomorrow on the IDT, i will make sure to find a route with lots and lots of down hills.
  15. sorry guys i had a crash (software crash) but it was a good battle today. well done to those who finished.
  16. nope sorry when using the PowerBeam its designed to work with the gears you have on the bike, as i am sure you found out you may have been a little under geared with the 32 at the front??
  17. less than 1h till entry closes, are you ready??? to all those running desktop there does seem to an issue and we are working around the clock to reduce this delay. we apologies for this.

  21. CycleOps for the win hehe Our PowerBeam Pro is probably more inline with the Tacx iFlow.
  22. you can e mail on dave(at)bicyclepower.co.za only routes that have been certified by CVT themselves make the short list for the tablet version, if you give me the name of the routes you would like to have certified i can put in a special request. RE the downloads that never run complete, again please give me the names of the routes. please make sure you have enough memory on your tablet. your i pad and desktop account are not interlinked, i.e. if you download a route on desktop this does not mean the same route will be on your i pad, sufferfest integration is still some time away, but we have put in a request for this to be included in later firmware updates.
  23. we will try our best, but i would like to get a little more detail from Garfield2010, the CycleOps Virtual Training App will only control the resistance of the following CycleOps Trainers, the PowerBeam Pro (ANT+ or BLE) or the CycleOps Indoor Cycle 420 as these are the only 2 trainers that have a built in resistance unit.
  24. do the routes you are uploading have video content? give us a call up on 011-023-2777 and we will get you sorted ASAP.
  25. PowerTap Joule GPS, R2995.00 for the head unit alone or R3695.00 for the head unit with PowerCal, the HR based Power Calculator
