  1. The guys at Cyclehouse in PTA North build at a good price also.
  2. Well done on retrieving your bike. More info on the sting please. Where? who? what? etc
  3. According to the study there's some serious need for legislation as banned stimulants are contained without being specified on the labels. Question I have is, what are the drinks that were tested? http://www.sajcn.co....rticle/view/559 http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Etiket-verswyg-stimulante-20121008 559-3803-1-PB.pdf
  4. Had the same issue a few days ago. Solved it by adding some more sealant and spinning the wheel like crazy.
  5. Sorry. For a bike I don't know.
  6. One that doesn't get caught
  7. Lowering your saddle makes your quads work more. Lifting it will shift the work to the calves. http://cyclingfitness.hubpages.com/hub/Muscles-groups-used-while-cycling#

    Rugby...

Was heartening to see a fly-half running with the opposition unsure as to whether he is going to pass, kick or sidestep. Goosen is lightning quick off the mark and puts the whole backline at pace with so much more room to work in. I still think that we need a decent scrummie that passes the ball faster. Pienaar is just too slow.

    Babba's Lodge

You can enter at the venue.
  10. Started a little late and with the wifey so didn't go all the way to the top of the Magalies. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r148/coenraad_e/MTB/IMG_0899_zpscbf1de5d.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r148/coenraad_e/MTB/IMG_0897_zpsac61e593.jpg
  11. What is a roadie?
  12. Went for a recce at Derdepoort yesterday and I got the feeling that on weekends you may want to give it a miss. Rather large area with many braai places catering imho for the non-cyclists from the Mamelodi side of the mountain. The fact that the pool has turnstiles with a sign stating that only 350 people are allowed in the pool area together with a police control room at the entrances makes one wonder about the crowd numbers. Also quite a few broken bottles all over the terrain. Lots of security guards and the perimeter fence is the concrete pillar type which seems nice and secure. Couldn't find any clear signage in the parking area as to where the trail starts.
  13. On the day I'll be selling spray on mud for the MTB'ers amongst us that washed their bicycles the night before the race. http://bsalert.com/f-store/mud.jpg
  14. Thanks. The fork is a Fox float 29 which is still brand new. Was just wondering if the stanchions need some sort of lubrication as they are bone dry after washing (by hand not power wash).
  15. What product is best for our dusty conditions and what process do you follow in keeping them clean and lubed?
  16. What should the jockey look like with a shortened chain?
  17. What do you reckon, remove a few links?
  18. Still some work to be done but she's done 2 rides already. Will convert back to MTB wheels after payday and paintwork needs a touch-up here and there. Bathroom scale reckons she's lost weight to just about 10kg. Not so sure about the jockey type tensioner but it'll do for now. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r148/coenraad_e/SS%20Cannondale/IMG_0866.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r148/coenraad_e/SS%20Cannondale/IMG_0867.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r148/coenraad_e/SS%20Cannondale/IMG_0868.jpg
  19. The 1mm gap should be measured when your derailleur outer edge is over the largest chain ring on your crank. In your first picture of your last post the position of the derailleur is incorrect for you to measure the 1mm gap. Shift to the big chain ring on your crank and then measure the gap.
