Rode Heia Safari Ranch a couple of weeks ago and was impressed with the trails.

I'm lucky in that I stay about 800m from the Spruit but it does get boring after awhile. As a quick before or after work ride I can't complain and one can do a 50+km ride from Paulshof up to the top of the gardens and back.

Tubby if you have a support car behind you-clincher if you repair your own puncture on the road!

Totally agree. And tubeless wheels if you haven't done so-allows you to run lower pressure which is also more comfy.

Never mind the clips, it will scratch where the bike rack rests on the car. No matter how you try and clean the car before putting on the rack! Roof rack or tow bar is the way to go.

Well lets say a fake costs R6000 and the OP was charged R36000 for a genuine frame so there's R30000 of reasons why they ripped him off.
