  7. Hey Guys.Sani Pass Transfrontier Challenge is on the 4th December this year. ROAG will be doing the entries. Information will shortly be available on www.sanispoors.co. I will let you know when the Transfrontier page has been linked to my website. Jimlit (fellow hubber) is race organiser and I'll be helping as well. So, any queries let me know.
  8. Hi, I upgraded from a 26' to a Titus Rockstar 29', what a pleasure. Just do it.More comfortable, more confidence on rocks and technical, more fun. Weight is irrelevant 'cos I'm never going to win anything.
  9. Titus Rockstar - very nice. Only had it 6 weeks, but very nice.
  10. Hopefully I can pass at least one!
  11. Hi Mark Doing hill2hill on sunday. As per Unathi,s question. If out for 6hours, must you take in plain water as well. I also need to eat on the ride, what can I use? Preferably something salty 'cos I get so gatvol of sweet drinks.
  12. Stop cycling 'till 6AM Sunday
  13. I have got tubeless tyres on, so can't just change tyres. Will require a new wheelset. So far consensus leaning towards another bike.
  14. I have rather stupidly entered a triathlon. The question now is do I buy an el cheapo second hand road bike or get another wheelset with slicks and a smaller cassette for my 29 inch MTB. Pros for a roadbike: 1)Hopefully a bit faster but I'm not going to win anyway so totally irrelevant. 2)Maybe I won't be the only dork on a full suss 29er doing a triathlon. Pros for wheelset: 1)Only one bike to spend money on. Your views and help please.
  15. Were you on laxatives and Lettuce?

  19. Depends how far you want to travel. Sani Spoors in Underberg (www.sanispoors.com) have awesome single track. There are 5 trails about, 30km in total. About 2 hours from Durban
