If you knew Sauser, you would know that he rides the equipment that he wants to ride. Sure he is sponsored by them, does that mean he hasnt ridden other pedals? Who was not sceptic when he said he didnt own any more 26" bikes? He chooses to ride LOOK because he likes it. What he says came from himself and was not scripted or asked to say. You dont have to believe me. I was only there when he said it... You can still have an opinion about the pedal, however, dont say things that you know nothing about.

This was the Second best marathon course I have ever done. The best being Karkloof. The price was totally worth it and it does give you the option to take the number board when you register to race. You should read the whole thing when you enter. As a guy who does races like Sani2c - Pioneer etc etc, How is R30 too much for you? Was it perhaps a little bit cold and wet? Zook, why dont you go and ride one? Opinions can only help you so much. Its not my type of bike but its an awesome machine to have fun on. You can def race(have fun in a race) it with proper setup. Specialized are running Test The Best Programmes where dealers can invite clients to go and ride the bikes. Might be a good idea?

you are correct, however its cut from live tv. that means no extra work to be done. Doesnt really matter, just wanted to give some insight as to what happens to make the show possible. Lets hope the live broadcast on the last day is better than last year

I am currently working on some video at the Epic.... Wont mention companies. I hear the comments from the guys, but its a little bit more in depth than it sounds. Your idea sounds great and I think its something that they could and should do in future. If they can have one streaming camera, why not more. I wanted to point out that putting the highlights of 26min on tv the same day is a time consuming process and its really hard to do. The only way that rugby and cricket highlights are made in a 30min highlight show is because its just cut straight from live tv. All points taken and considered. I hope you guys are enjoying some of the videos on Youtube....

Do you even have any idea of what goes into making a 26 min highlight package for a tv show? Do you even know how hard it is to film with 7 cameras, download all the footage of more than 20 hours a day, sort it all out, edit it. sound mix and do a voice over and then still prep it to be sent to germany, only then to be sent back to SA for broadcast? I dont think you do so keep your PISS POOR comments for something you have an idea about, Even if you worked in tv which clearly you dont, there is no one in the county who do daily highlights of any sporting event. And no i dont work for the company that does the show but i did for 3 years and i have filmed the epic for the last 4 years.

YOU are the only P* here for selling those fake clothing. Its inferior to any cycling product, even the no name ones and people are silly to even try it.

My 2cents. If you going to do it on a DS - I recommend doing it on a Spez bike with a brain in the rear shock. This might be biast and yes I LOVE Spez, but i happen to know that the brain works so well that when you riding a gravel road, the suspension is completely locked out and when you go over obstacles, it works. So what this means is that you are effectively riding a ht when you are riding smooth and have a ds when you need it. It is a very expensive bike and service intervals are quite frequent. If you are going to race it like you say, you might as well do it properly. Do yourself a favour, go to the bike shops that stock them and take one for a ride, Just be aware that you might want it after. I personally ride a 29er stumpjumper ht and its great over long rides, light and i dont have an issue with no rear suspension. This is my opinion
