  1. Hello, Yes I am. My other bikes are Sram Rival and Sram 11speed Force which are noticeably less noisy
  2. Thanks for the info! I thought I was going nuts, and my LBS insisted it was the type of lube I was using, which is the same I use for all my road bikes, so that theory didn't make sense. Much Appreciated.
  3. I have to agree with you, running Sram on both road bikes and was recently persuaded to change to KMC, sounded like a sack of spanners, I also ride at 4 am so it's super quiet so was even more noticeable. Eventually went back to Sram chain. Saying that though, I recently bought a Venge with Sram Red and was astounded at how noisy the Red cassette is, reading loads of reviews that suggest changing to a KMCX10Sl chain, which judging how noisy the last KMC chain was is something I'm rather loathe to do
  4. I'm probably way off the mark here but Sagan seems to have lost his passion in his quest for the Green Jersey. Doesn't have the same fire that we've always experienced watching. Whatever it is , I hope he gets it back
  5. Hi guys, any suggestions on any sites streaming the Tour ? I truly can’t see myself listening to Mcrossen for the next three weeks. Right now the next 3 hours is a stretch.
  6. I was telling my wife about your Cycle Tour Bmx exploits and now I read this. You're an amazingly good person, with a very good perspective on life
  7. Maybe so but it suits riders that wanted to compete in both but wanted fresher legs
  8. Thanks but no thanks. R12k for a team entry??? I suppose on the bright side it gives David a reason to get face time on tv again to explain the increase.
  9. Well written and informative.
  10. No, I'm not riding for free coffee's. I'm not going to ride every morning at 4 am for a free beverage. However if you allocate a certain amount and then backtrack I think one is more than entitled to question why. Apologies if this is another moan.
  11. That was the response I received from Discovery via Twitter this morning. So who knows where that info came from
  12. I frankly am not impressed with Vitality. I was getting 3000 points per ride which was great. No problems getting points etc. Then came the weekend and nothing was allocated. After contacting them via Twitter I was told that it would be resolved, which it subsequently hasn't. Went for a 2.20hr ride this morning and only got 600 points. I've been told that unless you use heart rate monitor ( I don't) you will only get 600 points. I have Strava and Garmin Connect as a feed but it seems unless I have a chest strap the goal post's have been moved from last week. As for Myles, this man deserves a medal for all the constant, useful advice he's given.
  13. To what ? Fight Club ? Judging by the arguments it might be rather apt? Congratulations though
  14. Great News indeed. Do you think there's enough time to change the design of those bloody awful football jerseys though?
  15. I would love to know the reasoning behind changing Vit B12 from a Schedule 1 to a Schedule 3 drug which effectively means getting a prescription. It's a bloody vitamin for ^&*^%# 's sake.
  16. My thoughts exactly when I saw this
  17. Get over this racist crap. The reality is that the last bike that was stolen probably wasn't stolen by a middle aged executive in a Armani suit. Nothing to do with race.
  18. Guys, in all honesty I think you're giving Scotty a hard time. If it had been a Specialised, Scott or whatever would you had felt different. He simply posted a picture, didn't have the guy arrested, beat up etc. A while back a very good deed was done when a Hubber spotted a bike at a garage and turns out the bike was stolen. Then everybody applauded him as the owner had thankfully got his pride and joy back. It seems you're damned if you do, damned if you don't report what you perceive as suspicious. Give the guy a break, he merely enquired if it looked dodgy. If my bike was stolen and I knew of somebody who saw and suspected it was stolen I'd be pretty livid. So do we now refrain from posting anything we may perceive as suspicious out of fear of offending anybody?
  19. Sorry boys but I disagree. I understand that the ratchets were not covered under warranty, however I feel after two months coming back with a fault and telling him that not covered is wrong. I have a jewellery store and whilst it's not the same scene, if I sell an expensive watch and comes back with a broken glass, I explain obviously not under warranty but due to it being recently purchased I'll have it repaired and charge him what they charge me. However, if it comes back after two months and the hands have fallen off, I'll carry the cost myself because you can't reasonably pay that kind of money and have it returned after two months due to an obvious defect with that particular pair. I feel the owner should have replaced the ratchets without an argument and then taken it up with supplier. Now he has lost a customer over a paltry R50? Not the brightest move
  20. I have to admit I was looking forward to going in there over Argus weekend and trying a few and obviously purchasing those I liked. Wanted to try 3-4 different flavors as was quite new to the whole thing. Needless to say I was told the same, can try one and that's it. Was also somewhat unimpressed with the general snotty attitude of the staff
  21. I have the Latissima, and must admit I use the milk accessory a lot. Not a huge mission to clean, just rinse it and then dump in the dishwasher. The only function I haven't used is the latte function. Other than that I love mine
  22. Chandeliers
