A little bit off topic - was pleasantly surprised this morning out on my morning ride. Punctured on my way back just before cedar road. Was busy fixing the puncture, when guess who was driving past and stopped to offer help. None other than Mr Mclean Wonder how many other cyclists driving by in their cars would stop (not saying they have to) but it seems some good folk out there do.

I had one built - Company called Strides - 082 855 3005 (Mark Strijdom). Solid unit. They upgrade the trailor lid suspension too to hold the weight.

Racing tandems to start after VA, VB and VC.

Remember elite ladies race is tactical, they don't care what time they ride, it's about the win. I reckon all the top ladies would sit comfortably with us in VA if they had to.

VA's rode quite negatively on the R28 - no one wanted to show their hand. Avg speed up to R28 was a shade under 40. If the pace was consistent I reckon 2:25 was on the cards. Anyways I guess it's more about the win then the time with the Vets. Also a bit of a gripe, racing tandems got in the way with 6kms to go, they really should start after the racing vets.

After lap 1 - its gonna be a S-L-O-W tandem on lap 2 dude But you are welcome to hop on behind us on the downs;)

but the real question is, IS Armstrong bigger than Chuck Norris???
