This is what I did to pass water inspection. 2 conventional bottle mounts.Plus... One on top tube and one on aero bar. It worked well.

You dont have a choice in terms of the minimum amount of water that you start with. There is a chick that checks your bike at the sign in. She takes no prisoners. Either you have enough water or not. Enough, with your other essential basics and she signs off. Not enough, she tells you to sort it out and come back for another inspection.

I am pretty keen. I actually made an effort to get the money together to enter nice and early. But then one of our bakkies had a major engine failure. Result... 30k later the vehicle is back on the road and my entry money is gone. It is tough times for small business owners so I am hoping to be be able to get the required funds together again.

Whilst I understand that it is a test match. I also understand that the knife is buried in die Aussies back and we are twisting it. 39 runs off 180 balls by Elgar is pretty pathetic. Yes I know that he considers himself as the sticker in the team. But really. Modern test cricket is a pretty fast moving affair. Drawn matches are not the norm anymore. Anyway, just my opinion.
