Number 10 for me this year (and 3rd time doing the MTB the week before)

No. Nuff said
My suggestion is train for the Sani as though you are doing it. Put in your leave and bide your team. This year I saw at least 3 or 4 teams trying to get their money back in the last 2 weeks before Sani
the winner of the MyNav GPS unit is the person who scores the best single haul of points on one stage, plus the points from the Team Time Trial.
this is a tie between Supermar and Word, so he count back to the best points after week 1 (also a time) and then the best points haul after week 2:
Congrats to Supermar
AAARRGGHHHHH!! So close yet so far. Slipped from 3rd place to 6th overall. Miss out on the one prize I thought I had won
Well done Frosty - was an awesome competition. My team had green, polka, white and yellow jersey winner. Also full podium for GC (Froome, Quintana, Rodriguez), full podium for Polka (Quintana, Froome, Rolland), first 2 places for Green (Sagan, Cavendish), first place for White, winner of the most aggressive rider of the tour and the winning team overall (Saxo) and I still could not win this. TOUGH SCHOOL.
My downfall must have been leaving out Contador in favour of the non-performer of the year Voekler.
Owwwww. My team let me down terribly on the ITT yesterday. Went from 3 to 5
Voekler was my polka dot jersey pick - HUGE disappointment. Also just seen that one of my team members has now bailed. Out goes Pinot
Lying 3rd. Watch my man Quintana now snatch up all the points for that white jersey.
Tied for 12th before todays stage - so far my best performance in this competition EVER
Alex finished THIRD!!!
Just checked - first 2 finishers are in. Alex is currently within 1 mile of Liam Crowley and James Olsen. All have 120 miles to go (at least they did at 3am this morning).
With a push Alex can finish third!!

ASG make great kit using FTECH in Italy
Cyclelab in Fourways has quite a selection but they are pricey wherever you go. I need Ultegra plates and they are R200 a set (for a piece of rubbishey plastic???)
They buy directly off Amazon, add a markup and then ship the stuff in
In December I entered one of the ASG auctions. I happened to be a winner (awesome pair of Rudy Project sunglasses). They sent me an invoice yesterday and I paid at about 3:30 in the afternoon. This morning the sunglasses were waiting for me when I got to the office. AWESOME SERVICE.
Thanks Lizle and Heinrich
RIP Burry. Thoughts and prayers are with Cherise and the family. I never met Burry but did see him at the Nissan Trailseeker in September last year. He won and stayed around for ages afterwards meeting the rest of the competitors and having photos taken with anybody who asked. A real superstar.
Tragic loss for SA and World Cycling.
Ultegra on a Dogma 65.1 - kind of like putting Frisco granules into a Saeco coffee machine!
I have a strava reading that has me at something ridiculous like 190km/h - best part is that somebody took my KOM by a second. I was not in my car at the time as I do not drive to the ride.
What do you mean "flag the ride"?
Edinburgh Drive is a bitch! Dont underestimate it. Be careful on Chappies - there is a little Chappies and then main Chappies climb and look out for the false top. There is a corner that you assume is the end but then it goes on again.

With all the glass in the cradle at the moment (no rain to wash it away) I must have picked up some fragments in my rear tyre. Result:
A FLIPPING PUNCTURE WHILST RIDING ON THE IDT!!!!
I guess the pressure on a constant spot must have pushed the glass fragment through and caused the flat. Damn annoying
