  1. "I was going to the race favourites I know and showing off the dropper. They asked me what I was doing with a dropper and laughed but I warned them that if they follow me on descent, it's at their own risk.” 🤣🤣 "Due to the UCI rules we had to use a dropper that was on the market and so went for a MTB model. We tested a 12cm dropper but that was too much and meant the pedalling wasn't efficient anymore, so we opted for a 6cm device. I had a grip shift on the bars and lowered and lifted it several times on the descent of the Poggio. People have long dismissed the idea of using dropper posts but the technology is more advanced now and they don't weigh much more than a regular seatpost." https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/mohoric-ive-destroyed-cycling-now-everyone-will-use-a-dropper-post/
  2. I’ve found it helpful to routinely do post-ride hamstring and calf stretches for a few minutes. That and my preferred pool resistance workouts with the guidance of a senior sports science lecturer on campus. Mostdef made a difference in my case.
  3. Coulthard: “The Mercedes seemed to be off the pace." Verstappen: “Very. Very!"
  4. From a basement cellar? Right mate, so this “?” is what’s known as a question mark.
  5. Hmmm… The plot thickens. PS. All twelve bikes stolen from the cellar, a guest farm employee or manager or owner?
  6. Great meals and coffee as well.
  7. YASSSS!!! Beating the reigning world champs makes that 3 for 3 for SA and England 0 wins out of 3.
  8. Odegaard was immense. 5 direct chances created, 5 duels won, 3 recoveries. Before half time.
  9. Soyuncu last man handball preventing a goal. How’s that not a red card? Loads of punters will feel hard done by, Soyuncu was pre-match favourite to be sent off first.
  10. https://cyclingtips.com/2022/03/new-zealand-champion-olivia-ray-dropped-by-team-with-usada-investigation-underway/ I need a shower.
  11. Like the pervy couple in their 70’s who worked hard to see past all the trees and hedges whenever the GF and her and my female friends enjoyed the pool. Didn’t recognise him when he approached me in the shop, after he identified himself I held a hand over my nose and said “Sorry mate, didn’t recognise you without the wall."
  12. Precisely what happened to Jayde Panayioutou. The triggerman, Sizwezakhe Vumazonke, was the same guy who invaded my home with his mates a few years earlier. At 1 in the morning he was right next to me when he saw me waking on my couch and thought that was his cue to stab me. Screamed louder than Oscar which startled the thug. I’m a big guy and when I swung at him luckily struck his trachea. Dropped him, moered him and have the knife scar on my hand. One of his mates was caught running away with four of my watches, my phone and the GF’s tablet by a passing cop van. Two caught and GF and I attended two court sessions before the prosecutor and judicial system screwed it up. Vumazonke should have been in jail already when he shot Jayde.
  13. Spot on. Don’t know why I was a bit surprised that the FA approved an owner who chops up and flushes down the sewer system a journalist who disagrees with him.
  14. Oh dear. That's rich news. The nouveau riche have met a hitch.
  15. 😘
  16. Who knew that the S in PSG stood for Spursy???
  17. Edit: Gary Neville - "I worry about the make-up of the Arsenal squad, it just doesn’t feel right. There’s something just not right. They’ve got a young coach as well who has got a massive job in front of him but there’s something missing. It'll be messy and scabby and a horrible little season.” 🙈😂 I absolutely disagreed with all the naysayers on various forums.
  18. About time! Old time Spursy legend Gary Mabbutt wasn’t yet born the last time it happened. 61 years since ’61. When one’s own sponsor trolls one. 🙈 You’ll always have the brilliant Man City and Everton demolition jobs though.
  19. Bit of an anomaly imo. Gerrard and co pulled one over.
  20. This ⬆️⬆️ Wish there was also a way to cutout minibus taxis when the driver starts counting wads of cash. I’m able to solely use wide, almost pedestrian-free pavements and cycle paths on the way to several singletracks in my area. Even so, the idiotic sod still mowed me down on a cycle path just past an intersection Tuesday last week. At least I got more than enough of that wad of cash to pay for new grips and replace bust spokes and straighten a slightly buckled alloy rim. Sorted the multiple cuts and bruises on leg and chest and elbow myself. Only saw the smashed and buckled phone after getting home. On a faaaarking cycle path!?
  21. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/cricket/1575696/shane-warne-dead-australia-cricket-news RIP champ.
  22. Matter of preference, love them as a light pre-ride brekkie or as part of a quick dessert.
