  1. Are their marketing terms ‘“Holy White” and “blackSeries” and “caleumBlue” and “ADAMANT BLUE” a bit naff, somewhat predictable and a lot pretentious? Have they reverted to ‘90s marketing? Overblown words simply demand those prices (they hope).
  2. Yassss! Much respect to the entire squad and captains and Proteas management for brilliant wins in the test and one-day series.
  3. Mate, you make bail yet after the pitch invasion? Edit: Grealish probably still in Romeu’s pocket.
  4. Caribbean, Asia and USA have ‘em some rude foods.
  5. I’m convinced that these two complicated things by not speaking for themselves at the SJN hearings. It’s evident to all that they’ve established consistent team performances in various formats, despite several underperforming top order test batters. Hayi shem! Can’t help thinking of the poor poms in Australia and losing by 9 wickets in the West Indies this weekend.
  6. I can’t recall a more disappointing fielding performance by SA: 4 dropped catches and an embarrassing runout cockup. 40+℃ heat affecting focus and sweaty palms?
  7. 🤣🤣🤣💦 Heee! Can’t say ah ain’t lived me some high life adventures.
  8. Two offspring? What a pleasure. Thank goodness I got divorced before 10 years as we were producing kids every two years. Paid for 19 years of varsity education for three of those. Plus raised a stepdaughter. #broke
  9. Stunning!! I only do single nights out on short trips usually on coastal pathways. I imagine those long days on Karoo roads in stunning environs must be a zen-like pleasure. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing images bruh.
  10. Unfailingly. The bike also sleeps inside the tent when bikepacking.
  11. Best of luck, three large boxes urgently acquired from one supplier in Johannesburg which were collected simultaneously, and with a single destination, arrived in three different cities. Thanks DHL.
  12. Two 19 year olds, van Empel and Puck, leading!? I’ve spent three times longer on the planet and absolutely appreciate their excellence.
  13. … and the last two board members still backing Benitez were pressured to change support, wonder who they’re considering?
  14. A varsity student/prospective cycling pro and his GF swanning slothing about in a Caddy claiming "and I love it”? M’na? At your age I admired and much later got them sleek Italian beasts and I still rather bike EVERYWHERE, slower than a sloth. Trust a ciclista to get tingly about a Caddy.
  15. January 2021: India win the test series in Australia. March 2021: India win the test series in England. January 2022: India in SA... I’ll see meself out...
  16. Shameful imo. I don’t know about any other sport in which players or management are permitted to falsely imply or claim dishonesty or cheating (edit: by officials). Decisions can be criticised, but for the Indian team to falsely claim cheating?
  17. "I think that is disgraceful from the Indians. Virat Kohli is a legend of the game, but that’s not the way to act, that is not the way to act in a game of Test match cricket. The ICC have to stamp this down, they have to stamp down on the Indian side, you can’t get away with talking down the stump microphone like Ravi Ashwin has done and the Indian captain has done.” - Michael Vaughan
  18. YAAAASSSSSS!!!!! And a consolation award to to the naargat Kohli and his fellow teammates muttering unsporting naargat comments into the stump-mike:
  19. Tremendous fightback, despite several inexperienced players, after some supporters had feared a 0-3 series loss against an excellent Indian team. One hopes that vd Dussen (33.80) and Bavuma (33.79) and Markram (36.53) will dramatically improve their batting averages, just not good enough for top order batters.
  20. Remarkable resilience by Gunners after being down to 10 men at just 21 minutes, and at Anfield. And despite the absence of Partey and Aubamayeng and Elnenny and Tomiyasu and Smith-Rowe and Odegaard. Shots on target: Liverpool 0 Gunners 1, amazing stat with a man short for 70+ minutes and several frontline players unavailable. Plus, those include confirmed covid diagnoses, unlike Liverpool’s 40 (yes exactly FORTY) covid diagnoses last week of which ALL FORTY were found to be false to buy time. Edit: Last night shows how much ‘pool have relied on Salah and Mané, they were missed.
  21. Sorry this happened Paul, good luck with recovering it. Small matter, that’s a 2012 bike not 2002 as stated.
  22. Thanks for the update ICM, what a night! And yes, every EPL match is televised live here. Even on the final day when ten matches kick off simultaneously seven/eight matches are broadcast live with another channel called “goal rush” dedicated to live updates from all ten matches. At least you have the luxury of live footie, on a few UK visits I’ve simply never managed to nab a ticket. Edit: I’ve watched quite a bit of live footie here, including many international matches, and I chose to give up ten years ago. Doesn’t look like footie at all, resembles ping pong I think. Acclaimed players here routinely run just over half the distance that players in European leagues run in a match. Incredibly direspectful towards fans and the sport. Besides, the last SA player to crack the top 2 500 ranked players-by-value was Steven Pienaar at 84 in 2011. That makes ten years without an SA player in the top 2 500. In fact, we’ve spent long periods ranked below Syria, a country that hasn’t even had a stadium for a decade. Syria’s last football stadium Shockingly poor stuff from SA. I’d have no issue if we simply gave up and SAFA stated “That’s it, we just can’t."
  23. 🤣🤣🤣
