  1. 🙈🙈
  2. And then the shooter’s lawyer says he was perfectly entitled to shoot his own car on a freeway!?
  3. It’s 34℃ at the mo, I’ll get immense pleasure from that single chilled lager after my lunchtime ride through through the valley trails. Simply love the taste.
  4. Nope. Besides, some breathalysers are relatively inexpensive and I have one wrapped to keep cool in each car. Got those for two mates as well. Loads of med equipment supply companies sell these. Party events are ubered up.
  5. Corruption, incompetence and stupidity by cops and prosecutors often have tragic consequences. I beat down and caught Sizwe Vumazonke as he tried to stab me when he saw me waking from my couch. One accomplice was caught down the road with my watches and phone by passing cops. My GF, who was present, and I attended three court dates before the case was dismissed due to prosecutor and court officials not notifying us of dates. I followed up with calls and two visits to the integrated justice centre. They couldn’t/wouldn’t locate the case. Vumazonke went on to be the triggerman in the Jayde Panayioutou murder. If only court officials had done their jobs. Police incompetence/corruption is hardly a uniquely SA phenomenon. Silas Duane Boston’s teen sons repeatedly told police forces in the USA and the UK that they had seen their father murder a UK couple on his yacht. (Edit: the bodies were dumped close to shore and were found a couple of days later). At every single turn over the next 38 years multiple police forces in the UK and USA as well as Interpol failed to act on correspondence and exchanges. Because of their failures, Boston went on to murder dozens more people. If only violent criminals and drunk drivers were dealt with efficiently.
  6. I read an article a couple of years ago saying Mason Greenwood was the next Ryan Giggs, how right they were… Man U player? VAR will overturn it.
  7. I’ve bought parts and watches from the USA and the delays are in SA, sometimes at customs and also significant variations at local SAPO level. Your assumption is right, USPS parcels go through SAPO. One part took just 3 days from payment to be shipped from a small midwest USA town and processed through customs and to arrive at my local SAPO. Even though I’m just 2 residential blocks away, SAPO took 5 days to drop a collection slip into my home mailbox. Sooo… 3 days to travel halfway across the planet and 5 days for SAPO to travel two blocks. If it’s delivered through SAPO it’s often at local level that they’re dragging their arses. Of course tracking will show if it’s arrived at your local post office, if they’ve bothered to start processing incoming parcels.
  8. Are their marketing terms ‘“Holy White” and “blackSeries” and “caleumBlue” and “ADAMANT BLUE” a bit naff, somewhat predictable and a lot pretentious? Have they reverted to ‘90s marketing? Overblown words simply demand those prices (they hope).
  9. Yassss! Much respect to the entire squad and captains and Proteas management for brilliant wins in the test and one-day series.
  10. Mate, you make bail yet after the pitch invasion? Edit: Grealish probably still in Romeu’s pocket.
  11. Caribbean, Asia and USA have ‘em some rude foods.
  12. I’m convinced that these two complicated things by not speaking for themselves at the SJN hearings. It’s evident to all that they’ve established consistent team performances in various formats, despite several underperforming top order test batters. Hayi shem! Can’t help thinking of the poor poms in Australia and losing by 9 wickets in the West Indies this weekend.
  13. I can’t recall a more disappointing fielding performance by SA: 4 dropped catches and an embarrassing runout cockup. 40+℃ heat affecting focus and sweaty palms?
  14. 🤣🤣🤣💦 Heee! Can’t say ah ain’t lived me some high life adventures.
  15. Two offspring? What a pleasure. Thank goodness I got divorced before 10 years as we were producing kids every two years. Paid for 19 years of varsity education for three of those. Plus raised a stepdaughter. #broke
  16. Stunning!! I only do single nights out on short trips usually on coastal pathways. I imagine those long days on Karoo roads in stunning environs must be a zen-like pleasure. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing images bruh.
  17. Unfailingly. The bike also sleeps inside the tent when bikepacking.
  18. Best of luck, three large boxes urgently acquired from one supplier in Johannesburg which were collected simultaneously, and with a single destination, arrived in three different cities. Thanks DHL.
  19. Two 19 year olds, van Empel and Puck, leading!? I’ve spent three times longer on the planet and absolutely appreciate their excellence.
  20. … and the last two board members still backing Benitez were pressured to change support, wonder who they’re considering?
  21. A varsity student/prospective cycling pro and his GF swanning slothing about in a Caddy claiming "and I love it”? M’na? At your age I admired and much later got them sleek Italian beasts and I still rather bike EVERYWHERE, slower than a sloth. Trust a ciclista to get tingly about a Caddy.
