  1. Hell, that's one huge ice cream. I'll send her the link.
  2. Maaaaaybe you will be able to get het attention with some ice cream pics.
  3. I only bomb, but I can not vote.
  4. En MWNN?
  5. Great race report!
  6. Great! And Yeah Tuks!!! Rakker2007-09-28 04:43:43
  7. It might be more like a chronic allergy. Hubby had the same thing. He's using Deselex now on a daily basis and the problem is gone. It's an over the counter (no prescription needed) thing and totally legal (if that's an issue for you).
  8. I was told that they are planning to also have number collection at Centurion from next year.
  9. Or at night when you play "Swartkat". It's even worse than I thought.
  10. You guys get all funny when you put those pants on! Christie made a few weird dance-like moves when he (at last) got his on...
  11. So I don't have dogs. Will it be considered a hijack if I post pics of our cats? Please don't let this thread turn into a cat vs. dog thing and please don't laugh at our cats' names... This is Mellow Muis, happiest when he can play, eat or sleap (sounds almost like me...) Speel Muis, naughty little bugger. We had to move the toilet roll holder much higher... A pic of Christie's bike. The compulsary couch and Speel Muis included.
  12. Did you guys check the winning subvet ladies' results? They are seriously mean!
  13. Yea, that's crap. I almost died doing the (more than) 40km and now I'm also a DNF. Was there a cut-off time that I didn't know about?
  14. Judge, is it easy to insult while hiding behind an alias? You seem to be more negative than the whole Hub combined (refer to your other topic), so just think a bit about what you say on this forum.
  15. I don't know if you can call feeling like you're dying fun, but let's say I had fun. I was probably the unfittest person there! I don't know why people complain about not getting a medal. I never even take a medal as I don't have anything to do with it. That's just my opinion. What I did have a problem with was the fact that I didn't get a single glass of Powerade. I desperately needed it on the second lap and at the end. The coke (thanks IanJ, Sonic, whoever) was a life saver. The T-shirt is cool. I'm glad I entered early. They should deffinitely limit the entries to prevent the stampede and lack of Powerade, T-shirts and water bottles.
  16. The Prolink is for both road and offroad. Have a look on the link below. The "composite rails with elastomer mounting and flexible base" part is according to me what makes the saddle so comfortable. It's like having suspension in your saddle. http://www.teamcyclist.com/store/Selle-Italia-Saddle-Prolink-Light-Gel-Black-ID_P8403C1148.cfm
  17. I use a Selle Italia Prolink. Don't know if you will get any in S.A. We used an internet bike shop. The Prolink is magic for me. I used to have the ladies Trans am (?), but I didn't like it. I will never use another saddle than the Prolink.
  18. Try the needle and thread method. We usually put our hiking boots on the next day and hike another 15km. Usually without a problem.
  19. Something that sounds funny but works well if the skin is not broken yet: Dip a piece of sewing thread (?) (garing, man) in spirits. Put it through a needle that was also dipped in the spirits. Make a big stitch in the skin that's over the fluid and tie a knot in the thread. Keep it like that for a few days until it heals. This really works as it keeps the fluid draining without the skin coming off. We have done this on hiking trails before and I would never treat it differently. Damn, Konafan! You're faster than me!Rakker2007-08-29 09:12:08
  20. Something gone wrong with the red eye removal???
