Will appear bigger on a 30mm due to the tire profile changing slightly as the rim gets wider. I know there was an extensive topic on here somewhere covering the effects of rim width on tire profiles. It is minor though going from 25 to 30mm. Still noticeable to the trained eye.

Nothing new from CWC to be honest. Bought a brand new fork with a cut steerer and flower nut pre-installed.

Sold a frame and some components this week. Everything was scrubbed clean, frame was worked over with a cutting compound and resin polish before a coating of paint conditioner was applied. My orders go out in “minty fresh” condition and I expect the same.

Ended up chatting to Biket.co.za as well. One store that doesn’t drop ship. They had stock and it is on its way to me. As for the “they all do it” i’ll have to disagree there. We can leave it at that.

2 calls, endless attempts on the live chat and promises made that they will call me. You would think after paying extra for overnight shipping they would have been on top of the order. Should I call every single online store before placing an order to confirm stock? That is not how ecommerce should work. Frame shipped out this morning. A friend managed to help me last night.

Having a big issue with East City Cycles as well. Ordered based on stock status showing "in stock" and paid for overnight delivery. This was 24 hours ago and in theory should have been delivered today. I'm still waiting for the warehouse to phone me and tell me they are out of stock. I shudder to think how long I'm going to wait for my refund.

Received their email this morning to notify me they are also out of stock.

Buying and reselling makes you a dealer and dealers should pay to list their goods. So many flying under the radar. One in particular that has hundreds of ads but still not listed as a dealer. Thats a real problem to me.

On the same model. It basically disappears while you ride. Extremely comfortable for something that looks so slim and hard.

Managed to find a good Samaritan that can help me after work today. Which means the LBS only needs to replace hoses and bleed the brakes on Friday.

East City showed stock online. Called them and guess what.... no stock. This after placing my order. I really don't enjoy online shopping in this industry.

I understand stock shortages but why on earth is it so difficult to find this tool? I need the Park Tool BBT-79 but I can't find one anywhere. Some help or tips would be great Alternatively if I can come to someone and quickly remove and install onto a new frame. 30 minutes of your time would be great!
