  1. 50 would be great to have as spares for maintenance.
  2. Where can I order black end caps for cables? https://www.paragontech.co.za/product/quaxar-inner-end-cap-shiftbrake-black-500pcs-acc9065-500/
  3. Had shoddy quality in the past and warranty claim was honored. Where did you buy it?
  4. Would anyone be interested in a group buy from PNW Components. I'm looking at a couple of things from them and it would be great to split shipping costs.
  5. RBC is extremely good at what they do. Highly recommended by the suspension experts to carry out the complex work like this. Last resort I guess.
  6. Shot in the dark. Anyone have a 12spd XT M8100 cage available? 😂 Donor needed to repair my XTR
  7. Not to mention that seam that runs right across your taint and grinds you raw after a couple of hours in the saddle.
  8. I'm sure this is just a random occurrence but it left a very bad taste in my mouth. My previous 9spd XTR mech was 10 years old and went through hell. Not a single missed shift.
  9. Agree 100%. My frame is orange and everything else is blacked out except for the chain (gooooooold) and I want to keep it that way. I carefully picked components with minimal or no visible branding. I'm in my 40s, not 14.
  10. Always had great service from them. I buy all my Core Merino clothing from them. Have you tried calling?
  11. Mixed reviews. Good shop but one of the salesman once told my fiance to go to Mr Price and buy boardshorts instead of MTB baggies.
  12. Very much out of the blue. Not a scratch anywhere on the derailleur. Dare I say the CSixx cage is too bling? So much branding.
  13. No warranty from Sheeepmano. R1600 to replace the cage. Hectic considering a whole new XT derailleur is only R2400. Guess I'll try the epoxy route. The XT is great and all but I miss the preciseness of the XTR. It could very well be all in my head but jeepers did I struggle with shifting in the wet and muddy conditions encountered over the past weekend. First up though will be fresh cables. *GX AXS is starting to look mighty good at this point.
  14. Same experience with that hard ridge. On the IDT it actually caused a painful saddle sore for me. I also find that the cut around the jibleys is odd. Sometimes the marbles will climb over each other causing some discomfort while pedaling.
  15. Little do they know that the latest Anthill Films edit they watched had the berm filled with loose dirt to get that roast just perfect for the camera. Eeeedjits
  16. What would you say causes the damage? Weight, torque? If weight, then us fatties will need to be charged more than the racing snakes. Next you will want to ban aggressive tyre tread or riders that put down big numbers on climbs. eh eh you cant tax ebikes just like that
  17. Secondhand is cool and all if you know exactly what you are looking for but there is always a reason why a bike is being sold. Buy new and have peace of mind that you have a warranty, shop support, at least one free service, and the expertise of the shop to help you set up the bike.
  18. The last ride before we head back to the smog.
  19. Small world!!! I hope I said hello at least Heading out for one more ride this morning before leaving for GP.
  20. Bit of a gravel grind this morning out in Karkloof. Dense fog.
  21. Speak to the shop and ask them if they would be willing to give you an invoice listing all the parts and frame separately? They will still need to provide the correct code that describes the contents of the invoice though.
  22. Bottom of Prodigal Son. Fast, wet, loose, hero dirt, mud holes, overgrown bridges, scary, humid, moist, and every other word I can possibly think of. Karkloof never disappoints.
  23. Shawswood Farm. Ready to enjoy this beautiful area for the next few days.
