I have no idea as to the dropped metatarsals but people started wearing shoes because it was cold (europe) when Jan got here in 1652 everyone was still very much running around barefoot. Tell a boesman that he has "dropped metatarsals", I think he'll probably run away. . . barefoot.
  2. No expert but I would guess that you'll need something with a hard (read non-flexible) sole. In that case skateboard shoes won't cut it as it's not hard, at least it wasn't a couple of years ago. And you'll be surprised at what the "proper" skateboard shoes cost, definately over R1k.
  3. Go run barefoot (as die parkie dit toelaat) promise you no more aches and pains
  4. That guy probably pages through a downhill mag and thinks WTF are those guys thinking. To each his own I guess. Edit typos
  5. Knew it was something like that. . .
  6. "You can have anything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want" - Zig Ziglar Is that that guy from Boogie Nights!?
  7. If you're saying what I think you're saying that is actually pretty funny. I definately have the dibs too.
  8. Oh, I get it, you're refering to that other thread where that other guy complained about dibs not working. . . very clever
  9. I have Levi genes, but no AMPK ones. Are they new?
  10. Hopefully not a bike hoist!?
  11. Just used the calculator and it matches my setup 99%, the only place it differs is at the stem length (Mine is 120mm as opposed to the calculator's 100mm). That being said, my stem might be too long as I'm also slighty uncomfortable after a long ride.
  12. This is unthinkable
  13. And so does the table
  14. Hey Mayhem, when you're done with this awesome project of yours don't you wanna give a quick outline of what you bought from CRC with the VAT and duties etc? I know there is a million threads on this but would be nice to see an actual example. Thanks mate That fork looks super sweet btw
  15. Seconded
  16. I think you should quit your job and open a sprayshop, I have a Land Rover Series 2 pickup you can practice on I'll even let you do it for free
  17. Groenkloof doesn't have all that
  18. Table looks good though
  19. Orbital, built a pergola at the front door using old Meranti decking, 32 planks, 25mm x 50mm x 3.5m, gave up after plank 8 and took it to a woodshop to have it planed.
  20. I love woodwork, really enjoy it, once did almost the same thing with an electric sander. Not fun.
  21. Why is that what you notice!? Love the rest mayhem, coming along nicely now.
  22. Groenkloof R600 per annum, R160 monthly, R25 once off. To make the annual one worth it you have to go twice a month. Money well spent!
