  1. Yes I also bought the one that is going for R550. After a 4hr loadshedding time still on 100% charged. Much better that a normal UPS. Have not tested to see how long a charge will last.
  2. Maybe you can use this and modify the other end with a clamp on the rails? https://www.rookiesports.co.za/product/fluir-pro-wall-mount-bicycle-repair-arm-extendable-and-foldable/
  3. https://rackandcarry.co.za/accessories/all/30 Another site

  8. 1. I use this: Rookiesports: Fluir Elite 1000lm light. (but out of stock) 2. MTB squirt. RB: Oil based 3. I use paraffin for drivetrain cleaning and sunlight dish with a brush(the ones for shoes as it is nice an soft) and rag for wheels and frame 4. paraffin and sunlight dish 5. I bought Ryder Pump Digital Floor 3.0. Helps a lot with the MTB to get correct inflation. The rest I got as I go along with playing bike mechanic not necessary in the beginning. on the bike RB: tube, bomb, tyre levers MTB: 2xbombs, plugs and tool, multitool (for short rides)
  9. My first W2W. Or first MTB tour, quite looking forward to it. Hope my setup is correct
  10. I did 3 wheels this weekend. 2 with new tape, 25mm, after putting on tape and valve with a just small enough hole for the valve to go through. fastened valve. poured sealant. then used soapy water that I sprayed along the bead of the tyre. 2 wheels popped with the normal pump, one was leaking so bad you saw bubbles everywhere. took it to the garage and pumped with compressor and wheel popped 3 times and was on. The soapy water will also indicate if the valve is on correctly. The rim take was only in the middle of the wheels and not near the edges. Hope this helped
  11. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/hardtail-mountain-bikes/586615/merida-matts-lite-3000-large-full-xt#fullscreen This looks like a decent cheapie. you wont need to do any upgrades and you will enjoy your riding.
  12. it will be mounted on the rafters/beams.
  13. The tandem stands parked for a couple of years and starts to bug me. Just want it below the ceiling so that some of the other bikes that is not in use can stand below it. I want to tandeming the bikes on top of each other.🙈
  14. Oohh thanks...I will go and weigh it. I think then I can wing it/diy with that brackets and some nice cable ropes.
  15. Ja I am not sure, think it must be around there or more. its taking up space and
  16. Will this work with tandem? Not sure about the weight? https://www.rookiesports.co.za/product/fluir-bicycle-storage-rack-ceiling-mounted/
  17. Apparently, and I can be wrong. She discarded the teams prep for the race and did her own thing cause it was not working for her. She clearly knows how to prepare for a race.
  18. The Plasma is a TT bike stay away unless you want a rigid ride. Get a carbon frame, it will make a huge difference. my suggestions https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bikes/546004/gaint-tcr https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bikes/570649/carbon-giant-2019-tcr-small-green-blue https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bikes/577793/54cm-time-nxr-bike-in-excellent-condition
  19. For what its worth. I bought a R15k frame that was repaired but not good repair. Had to redo the repairs. I paid R4k for the frame and R1k extra for repairs and frame is looking like new now. I agree with @vanniri +-45k
  20. Using this for the last 3 weeks. Very impressive for the price.
  21. Depends on budget....much moola big light. little moola little light
  22. This.....great shock, 12spd, hydraulic brakes. https://titanracingbikes.com/bikes/rogue-dash/
  23. Another thing on the MTB bars. try and put the lights as near as possible to the stem. The bigger diameter will help with more secure tightening. I experienced on my bars.
