  1. If you wanna race your RB, get a carbon frame with a 105 groupset 10 speed at least. If you just wanna train on it any other bike, with a 10spd groupset. All depends on budget https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bike-frames/468109/giant-tcr-advanced-sl-frame https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bikes/476222/giant-tcr https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/road-bikes/466659/scott-speedster

Make sure you get the right size bike otherwise you wont have a happy riding experience. If you have a bike shop that is willing to measure you and give advice it will help a lot. Enjoy riding

  8. If you are new to cycling then first make 100% sure of size of bike is correct for you. Nothing spoils cycling like an incorrect sized bike. Apart from clothing and kit get a setup done on the bike. 1hr on the bike could feel like 6hrs if you are not correctly setup. Just my 2cents. Ultegra is lighter and more expensive than 105. 105 is still good and I will ride it, although I ride Ultegra for the last 10+-years. good luck and enjoy.
  9. Bliss and Silk Road...looking forward to them

  13. Jip that is a great movie. like peppermint
  14. Thanks for the write up frosty. Had a 160km gravel ride on saturday that required a map. The bryton 330 that I use helped with breadcrumb trail but were a few times offroute as the route was out of context or not zoomed in. It still got me home though. I am looking for a better navigational unit (turn by turn) that does not break the bank and I don't use power. It looks like the lezyne would do the job. Enjoy it.

  20. I have used this and was pretty darn bright until it failed on me. Lasted for 2 years. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/lights-and-batteries/395328/speed-master-night-light I am now using this light and like that it has built in battery, Light lasts for approx 2 x 1.5hr rides. Start of on high and as it gets lighter go to low setting. Can replace the battery or have a spare battery on longer rides. easy to change. https://www.rydercycling.co.za/ryder-products/lights/900-lumen-front-detail
  21. I think the thread name must be changed to NTT. Dimension Data is so last year.
