  1. I had myself a Roast Beef Sarmie, and a samoosa (for the added oil benefit ) Oh, and a BEEG Co Ka Co La!! BUT I am not racing on Sunday ........
  2. Hey Tjommies2, How you doing buddy. Are you riding this weekend? Took your advice and went for the 11-25 (Thanks). You just upgraded to the Dura Ace though, that must be damn fine.... I honestly dont see myself going back to Shimano though, not now. Maybe if I have a massive "mis-shift" up Vissershok in the 99'er I might change my mind.....
  3. Upgraded from Shimano Ultegra to Sram Force. I firmly believe, the best move I have done
  4. Atraut, your Spez is probably one of the best looking bikes I have seen in a while, i am SO jealous. The Matt Black is SUPER sexy. You have got a fantastic build and it myst fly with the Red... You know, within a pretty tight budget, I dont think ANYTHING can compare to the Force, for a Rand to Rand value. I think for sure, the best bang for a buck! Enjoy your new ride.
  5. Thank YOU Kieran! It really is amazing, I am SO impressed. You know what, one day, I probably will go to Red, but for now...... I am MORE than happy.... Lets just make sure thosse times start tumbling now
  6. THAT IS A HOT PRICE for Sram Force......... Is that a NEW Group???? WOW!!
  7. YOu kidding me, even more precise? WOW, cause I cant believe how precise the Force Group is. It is an absolute revelation against the likes of Ultegra. Pic attached, she is looking pretty "spanking"
  8. Go Sram Force. YAY. I ran with Ultegra for the last couple of years, but my word, Force is the Business! Wow, just pumping Sram all the way, I will stop now, promise
  9. That is the the most awesome thing I have heard in a while...... Gonna be using this ALL the time from now on!!!!!! Check my signature from now on
  10. I looked at it before I settled on the Sram... It is VERY nice and being of Italian Heritage myself, I should have gone to Campy . My only thing with the Campy was the ergonomics of the shifters, really didnt feel good in the hand . Maybe one day I will give it a try.
  11. No honestly urbanroyal, I am in a state of utter disbelief. It REALLY is that good. Easy to use, 1 small finger movement and its crisp into the next gear. Quiet!!!!!! I cant believe I waited so long to move, now I just want to get back on my bike and RIDE
  12. I agree with you completely. I have looked at what this company sells, with utter disbelief. NEVER have I seen a bike sold here with one complete groupset. His pricing seems WAY off and I cant even begin to tell you how many times I have read the headline... "Full Carbon" only to discover, Carbon Stays and Fork on a Alumium Frame..... Little confusing to say the least. Not agreeing in the full extent of yoru original post....... I wouldnt know anything about that
  13. SOOOO, I did the upgrade that I have wanted and I could not be happier. So, thought a little half an hour in this dreadful wind would be nice, just stretch the legs a little..... Well..... hour and half later 51km's in the saddle and I came home with the BIGGEST smile, thought that I might have made a slight little "spot" in my bibs . How on earth have a ridden for so long without Sram? How could I possibly have missed out on so many km's without Sram? I didn't even urgrade to the Red, I went to Force ($$$$$$$ lacking a little) and all I could think of whilst riding was...... If this feels sooo good, how on earth can ther even be something better than this? What on earth can they possibly do to make this better???? So, my question is this.... To all the Sram Red riders...... What is it? What does Red have that Force doesn't? I mean, yes, the little bit of weight difference, the ceramic bearings....but what does that equate to really???? Is there a really a marked difference between the Red and the Force.......??? I newly converted and VERY happy Sram Rider :P
  14. I haven't seen one of them on the road. Would actually be interested to know how it goes. Giant is full Ultegra as far as I know.
  15. Giant is HOT. Merida, just too fine for words (but that might just be a little biased ) There is the thing right there. You can get both of these around the R20K Mark, better specced than the Canondale
  16. Agreed, the Aluminium series is awesome, and really light, hence I said, go for it on frame alone. Just think she could get more (components and rims wise) for her money. NOT detracting from the frame Mr Air "dale"bender
  17. I would say taht is a bit steep for what she is getting. I am pretty sure she can get a better specced bike for R20K. The Canondale Aluminium is really light, so it wouldnt make a huge difference if she bought the Carbon frrame. My worries here are the Shimano 105's, Tektro Brakes, and Alex Rims?? Just looking at the frame pricing and if I take that away from the R20K, I would say she is WAY overpaying for the bike. Shop around a little more would be my suggestions. Just my 2 cents worth.
  18. WOW.... I think I should start doing some Triathlon's in the future. Just so I can get me some of the beauties I have seen on this post.... Absolutely AWESOME Machines
  19. I believe that there is a LOT of truth in what Landis is saying here. I truly think that the guys doing it are streets ahead of the testers and are getting away with it. Agreed, some-one is going to get badly hurt ior even kill themselves if this is not regulated.
  20. WTF is going on today???? PLEASE be vigilant out there EVERYBODY!!
  21. This is VERY sad indeed. IA real talent lost at such a young age. May she rest in peace and the Lord comfort her family in this painful time.
  22. I just had a look at both the MTB and the Road frames at Mark at Cape Town Cycles. I can tell you now, these frames are GORGEOUS!! Very neat, Light as heck and with all the trimmings, looks sweeeeet. having a chat to mark about getting me a nice KappiKappi Road frame VERY well priced
  23. Oh my atraut...... Think I just made an ooopsie That is one super fine peice of machinary there...... Hope that you have THOUSANDS of happy miles together, Congrats
