Dropppppppppeeeeerrrrrrrr SEEEAAATPOOOOOST! I agree with the foot slip off, sucks. but thats why i use flats with spikes on them as its harder for that to happen and when it does happen (happens to cleat riders too if there is a pedal strike) its quicker for me to recover.

Most of this can be answered by: I fall off. A lot. Hence full face helmet at the bike park (only on the jumps tho.) I don't like cleats because I fall off a lot and kept getting tangled up on the bike when landing. Big stoppers. Just nice. I like the modulation and the fact that i can slow down the wheel without locking it. I also ride other trails and feel that changing brakes only for the spruit seems a bit dof. I guess the real argument here is. Are you just posing? or can you use your kit for what it was designed? or do you hope to use your kit for what it was designed and so feel that it would be silly to get something that will limit you later? If yes to posing then why? If yes to the other two points then good for you. go for it! be it lycra, or baggies.

Definitely gets a plus one for being different. buuuuut it looks to me like they sacrificed a lot in order to be different there are better ways of solving their engineering problems rather than machining it out of one piece of billet aluminium which still flexes a lot! seems to me like they really liked machining things and building a bike came second.

the tech manual has a section on caliper alignment which I will try first as that sounds super simple. if that fails I will try supermils advice! not sure if it is a bleeding issue as the brakes feel super sharp and not at all spongy....

Bombhole: As you cycle from fratelli's towards william nicole/ republic you may notice that the trail deviates right after the first soggy with rocks bit. there is a steep descent with a short sharp rise to a tabletop thingy. near the waterfall. there is a secdond little jump after it. was huge and awesome at one point but is now a shadow of its former self. ( i think patches might have posted a video of it at some point.....)
