Btw, how much does a new Izimu frame cost?

As far as I know the domain is a budget triple clamp for with minimal adjustment. RC is rebound and compression damping, R2C2 is seperate high and low speed adjustment. I'm a marzocchi fan myself, easy to strip and rebuild etc. I was also trying to get Patches frame, bargain of the year!!

I would love to take that for a ride. And the bike. Maybe even the unicorn!

Amazingly my bike came with a quick release skewer on the frame! So I can raise and lower the seat without tools! I wonder why all mtbs don't have them? Oh , hang on...

I know that in my brothers shop they had a cracked carbon frame that was a warranty replacement. They had to cut off the bb and the head tube and send them back to the agents to get the replacement frame! Its to make sure that the dead frame can't be ressurected.

I only use water in my salomon bag. Wash it once a year with milton. I've left water in it for ten days and still been able to drink it. If I ride friday I just top it up for sunday. No issues. Although at the moment there's so much water in tokai its better to drink from a stream as it crosses the dh track!

That DH 2 is as rough as hell at the moment but it is the most downhillish section of the track. It could do with a bit of work I guess. All the dh guys will be at jonkershoek that day though...

Burry could probably beat anyone on this thread on a 24inch single speed fixie on that track. But really WHO CARES what size wheels someone else rides. If you don't earn a salary by riding a mtb then it doesn't matter does it?

How cool is that track though! Rock drops, rock doubles, big berms, multiple lines... I wanna go ride there now.

So I rode the snake trails this morning for the first time in a while and they are awesome! The berms add so much flow and allow you to carry way more speed than before. The last one is tight but I reckon just needs to be bermed more on the exit as I ended up off the trail there! Will try be at the trail builds to help get the rest as good as the top section. If we get the whole trail from level 5 to level 1 like that it will be the best trail anywhere!

Don't know about road bikes but for mtb try Cotic. There is also Curtiss in the UK who will build you any mtb frame you want out of steel. Not cheap though. I've got a Diamond Back Apex frame in the garage from 1993 if ya wanna buy it!

Deon, I for one think you are doing a good job,especially dealing with all the BS from parks and from the riders. Whens the next build day cos DH 1 needs some serious work at the top. Ill be there like a bear.
