  1. who did you use for this? I Got a quote for R3000 for about 100sqm which seems very good. Am thinking of this for next year before winter
  2. has anyone made a desk out of palette wood and willing to share ideas or pics? I want to make one for our study / spare room
  3. I can just see the discussions afterwards about how many teams raced across the gravel section, bet it'll make 50 pages. The gravel walking / running section will favour those with the running skills of Froome.
  4. I've got a couple of things I want to do around the house and am looking for: 350 Bricks: can be used or new but preferable not in need of loads of work to clean. Going to be used for a small flower bed wall and will be plastered so doesn't need to be fancy cement slabs. I need about 20 concrete slabs around 450x450 I'm in edgemead cape town. Please let me know if you have anything to sell and what you would like for it
  5. Thanks
  6. I've got a question that is almost wood work related. Our kitchen drawer handles keep coming loose. They are handles that we've collected over time. I don't know the technical name by the little rod is attached to the handle knob and goes through the wood. On the back are two little nuts that are supposed to lock against each other. But I think the nuts may not be the right size and they don't lock. After just one or two pulls they are loose. Is there anyway I can fasten them in place so they don't move at all? I have heard there may be a lock tight type glue that could be used. Any suggestions?

  17. my parents neighbours used to have tortoises and they never cut their back grass. My parents were always worried about what might be there. I think we once had a small snake in the road outside their house which I'm sure was there for the tortois
  18. he did, my apologies
  19. don't totally agree. ours was about R22000 for a smallish kitchen and other than the wood under the sink it's all good
  20. agreed, sitting with that exact problem. The door under the sink is starting to swell and fall apart because of the water that runs over the each of the counter and onto the top of the door. very annoying
  21. looks cool
  22. corrected
