I grew up in the Free State and did a lot of hunting with whippets and greyhounds in the winter months...my particular job was to keep the whippet wrapped up and warm on the cold nights and mornings for the hunts. My spot was sitting in the center of the seat of the Hi-Lux with the whippet on my lap in a blanket. Once spotting the hare, she was launched...such fond memories of them.
