  1. So I started watching Dead to Me on Netflix last night. I was about to kill it when it ended in such a way that I will have to continue watching! Any of you seen it yet? Stars Christina Applegate
  2. Based on the cost of printer cartridge ink, they probably filed for bankruptcy the following day!
  3. No upside to this boelsheet story, if puffy gets you, you are in for the long haul of pain, pain and more pain.
  4. Toni is the Dacia of tools, daai k@k moet vermy word!
  5. True that! I once phoned Hammer/Hammar (can't remember spelling). Was after their small table saw with sheet goods guide. Their CEO did the best sales pitch I've ever received but in the end at R53,000 then, it was well out of reach
  6. fence improvement
  7. I have that machine fitted it to a rolling bench. It is a great machine for DIY and some "light industrial" style cutting. 1. The fence is rubbish, but there is a youtube video on building a Biessemeier style one that works great. 2. I've made a table sled and a mitre sled which I use on the saw 3. The plastic insert around the blade is super flimsy and dangerous, I immediately made a zero clearance insert out of pine and all good. 4. has a soft start motor too I've had mine for close on 5 years and it works perfectly fine paid R5k for mine second hand and in great condition
  8. I really wanted to, but my ADSL speed is way to low for it to work, so had to uninstall. I see it is widely used by the likes of Diresta and other makers. On the upside, fibre is being installed in my street, so will give it a try again. Have you been using it? Is it as good as the internet says it is?
  9. Flip, it would've been a stunning picture was it not for that clump of rock in the background Edit: lovely shot though
  10. In die perfekte wêreld is daar altyd braaibrooidjies en boobs!
  11. Your question had me thinking about this last night. Wonder if they have some special software assisting the pilot? I suspect that due to the particular job it was designed for steep banking etc will not be in the design?
  12. ...and look today you obediently eat your veggies! Gotta agree that it works!
  13. But...some of the pilots interviewed after reading the report stated that in that situation they would probably have handled it the same and that the flight crew did very little wrong in the situation. Meaning that when some things go wrong, some other things become secondary to the problem trying to be solved. What is very clear is that the system is flawed and peoples lives are at risk with the current configurations.

    Who remembers?

So flippen awesome! So many cool memories about it. Mine went on many weekend and holiday fishing trips along the banks of the Vaal river. It was by my side all day and night. I used that knife to graffiti a tree on my dad's buddy's plot with the date 22/2/1986 - Hayley's Comet was in the night sky as beautiful as could be! At some stage all the paint was off it and I re-painted it with Airfix paint in camo, which also didn't last long. I lost it when I tipped the canoe about 4km's down from the Vaaldam wall in the rapids one Sunday morning. Edit: it had a wood saw type cable with two keyrings, completely useless and all, but was never thrown ou

  17. What a beaut !
  18. WOW, that could be explaining a lot especially if a pilot under stress cannot systematically and quickly override the MCAS and then tries fighting it. Scary s h i t
