So we now have the Friday Fight and the newly introduced Saturday Scuffle.

    Thought Friday was finished.
  3. Fixed. Should have been: "...the suspect was sentenced to a short drop with a quick stop."
  4. The longer a scam goes on, the lower you have to set the price to get people to bite. When this BS came out first it was R400 a piece, now its R18.95. And it costs R1 to make in China.
  5. My bad... I meant to say Maxxis Crossmark.
  6. Maxxis Larsen TT. Best tyre ever made. Connected centre knobs make it roll very nicely.
  7. CAAD4. Its got the same SCUD stem and FSA seatpost I've got on my bike. Still riding my CAAD4.
  8. The biggest advantage of a 27.5er is that you are completely immune to 26er and 29er riders ragging each other.
  9. And no, you do not need a wider handlebar on a 29er. I'm running a 560mm bar straight from my 10 year old stripped down 26er.
  10. 1) If you can't turn the RD out far enough, you probably won't be able to pop the circlip to get take the mounting bolt out. I'm speaking if SRAM is the same as Shimano in that regard. 2) Nothing wrong with X9.
  11. Probably bent the threads inside the hanger which is holding onto the RD now. You will have to take the hanger off with the RD attached, and somehow saw/file/cut through the hanger to get the RD out.
  12. It will last exactly as long as what a piece of string is.
  13. Regular heavy duty alloy cage is fine, not one with flimsy construction. Roll a few layers of electrical tape around the seatpost so that it doesn't scratch, then cable-tie the bottlecage on. Two big ties at the top and bottom. Mine doesn't move.
  14. Would probably add about 2 hours to my time.
  15. I put the photo through AutoFix in Photoshop and it came out greatly enhanced.
  16. I've got a similar bar that I want to sell. Ordered for a mate in his absence but it turned out too short. I think its a 10cm stem... If you are interested.
  17. Had the same problem. Was going to ride with a mate and aim for a top 10, he was capable this year, I was not. My training just didn't work out this winter. Then we went to the Tour de France where I did this to my ankle walking down an invisible staircase (it was there, I didn't see it). *crack noise* ...which meant destroyed ankle and no training (anyway) for two weeks while there. Then just as we got back to SA, immediately a cold/flu for 2 weeks which only cleared up a week before Trans. I managed two rides before we left for Willowmore. 1 month, 2 rides. Legs wasn't there at all this time around.
  18. Only have 1 set of 29er wheels so with tubeless its not a quick thing to change tyres. Coimbra sells "take-off" Rocket Rons for very cheap so I use those. On-road and offroad. When they are done, chuck on a new pair.
  19. MTB on the tar is brilliant training. I can't remember when last my road bike saw sunlight.
