  1. So I stand a chance then. Will always be hard for someone that plays by the "rules" to beat someone that's just going medieval.
  2. Can ad though that this bike hasn't seen sunlight in a long time. The owner does kick-boxing and that kind now. So if you don't give him his price, you run the risk of getting moer'd
  3. and I'd rather not comment any further.
  4. Know the owner.
  5. www.alibaba.com R19k gets you 4 frames.
  6. Yep. I have two Dues XC cranksets today still. Imported them just when they came out. I have photos of them on my bike from about 9-10 years ago. Today the one is on my old Scalpel that my dad uses and the other on my kiddie carrier bike. **** I'm getting old.
  7. Now see, that's adding value right there.
  8. Was said tongue in cheek mate. When you have taste for boutique components, RaceFace, Ritchey and FSA won't do.
  9. People are talking FRM and Enve here dude. RaceFace is for the lesser fortunate.
  10. Don't know much of Enve parts, but it strikes me as the Assos of bike parts? Massive prices. A week or two ago someone was trying to sell an Enve stem for like R2250. Didn't look that fancy and the same weight as a R450 Ritchey WCS stem. http://fairwheelbikes.com/images/ENVE_Stem_110mm.jpg 110mm $265.00 In Stock Add: Guess its a case of, "got the money and willing to spend".
  11. Photographer: "Hey Con, sorry bud I missed that, can you go back and do it again?" Unfortunate crash, hope recovery is quick.
  12. That's a **** load of toothpaste...
  13. That is just INSANE.
  14. Seems Octavian is at it again.
  15. Sorry Reg, the Ti bolt I've got is 8mm.
  16. I've got a titanium bolt here that never fitted on anything I had. You can have it if its the right size. I will measure and let you know.
  17. I got some finish line carbon paste. Truth be told, use some toothpaste. The "rougher" the better, not the smooth stuff.
  18. My bike shop does the same with Rons. Was R100 last time I checked.
  19. I don't like Racing Ralphs that much, find the knobs tear off a bit too quickly. But durability wise, like Crispy says. If you look where you put your wheel, the tyre will last just as good as any other. R450 per tyre is very expensive though...
  20. There was something a while back about lights being too bright. But what you going to do? Guys are always striving for bigger (well, better) and brighter lights with longer battery life. And on the other hand, someone complains that they are too bright. Not you, its been brought up before. Where is the disconnect, the "sweet spot", in terms of brightness? Tough choice.
  21. Mate ordered some 24 spoke (yup, only 24 spokes) Chinese carbon rims and he's abused them big time. Still dead straight. And if you use light spokes and hubs, you can get them to about American Classic Race 29'er weight.
  22. Flip, so that's what happens when you have too many tabs open. Posting in ancient topics. Fhail.
  23. Improves most things.
  24. As long as they slow you down, that's good enough for me.
