    Bunny Hop.

how easy is it to Bunny hop with a 29er DS? im considering moving to a 29er, but i use bunny hop often. all those who ride 29ers, does it hop easy? and while on the subject, can it handle high-ish drop offs? like 3-4ft drop offs. yes depends on the rims, but would 29er rims generally be up to the task...????
  2. And ill MOOOOO everywhere i ride while juggling!
  3. Caerus. that is an option and the most logical one... but find just a 26" anthem X frame....?? not so easy.... yes i can buy a new one but at the price i dont have the cash... so i was just thinking that im in for the spend so why not look at the 29'er route... its not like im buying one for the hell of it! and yes, i need new wheels too... so wheather its 26/29 i still have to get them.....
  4. HA HA Andre'..... ok... so i guess i now need to make a decision.... Tommy... sad hey....? so so bleek!!
  5. are you yanking ma chain RacerX...???
  6. well i have quiet high spec components on my 26'er, so i just need to get a new frame and new wheel as they died too... so either ways i need new rims... so technically... all ill need extra is a 29'er fork... ?? tommy... see here.... https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/112082-can-this-be-repaired-and-by-who/
  7. as some of you may have read, i need a new frame... so now i'm considering going the 29" route... i will need a frame, wheels and front fork... the rest i can use from my 26". on the wheels... can i rebuild my current hubs, 32hole, onto a 29 rim? as this will be cheaper for me. or will i need new hubs too?
  8. who would be the person/people to speak to Capricorn???
  9. well, i drove into my driveway, my parking spot (as there as a number of cars in my driveway) no, not a complex but it it complicated, and there was a car parked in my usual turning point, a friend of my cousin was visiting, so i went very close to the tree and when i turned the rear wheel on the rack hooked the tree and bent the sh*t out of everything! i completely forgot the bike was on the back...... i went pale and wanted to vomit! about the insurance... was in the process of getting it done but was waiting for a replacement quote from last week.....
  10. not original owner, i bought the frame second hand.... and do warranties cover accident whilst not riding??
  11. ok... so what are the negatives....?? and who is the best person, ive tried to search but haven't found a name yet... i did come across a thread about this one guy who BS two guys into thinking he could fix the frame and used body putty... im a big guy and my bike needs to be solid... i don't need a weak point as it will break there... WRT to what happened.... well lets just say it involved a Land Cruiser, a bike rack and a 60year old 40foot high palm tree....
  12. so my Anthem got damaged yesterday..... wondering if it can be repaired tube tube is horribly bent....?? if yes, who is the BEST person for the job??? and what are the Negatives of getting it repaired?

By "atennuators" i assume you mean these things on the brakes already?
  21. right... school me on rear derailures.... currently have FSA cranks 39-44-54. An old LX rear derailure and an 11-34 cassette.... we ar,e not racing snakes on the tandem and would like an easy gear at the rear. we were using a 11-28 with a 44-58 upfront and it was a killer on the up hills.... my lady could not pedal the ratio and i could hardly handle all the pedaling... SO... do road derailures shift up at a 34T? i read somewhere that, for eg, the shimano 105 can only shift up to a 28? would i be doing well if i kept the MTB derailure set up or would changing be advised.... ?
